Thanks! Less tempting when the JRR price is 25 cents more than Ableton's price (instead of discounted), but if I do end up having my wife buy this as a birthday gift to me, I will direct her to you.Uncle E wrote:I just added it:anxiousmofo wrote:Will JRR be offering sale prices on Ableton upgrades, or is only through Abes?

Hi Uncle E,Uncle E wrote:JRR Shop June 1 Sales
Buy or upgrade to Cakewalk Sonar Platinum by August 31 to receive free upgrades for life! Extra discounts in cart:

I've got Sonar Platinum so I added the "Cakewalk SONAR Platinum Upgrade from any SONAR Producer or Platinum" to cart but it's not taking any coupon codes it seems
Also the product descriptions don't mention lifetime anywhere - are these the right products for the lifetime upgrades?

Fixed, there's now an extra discount in cart.anxiousmofo wrote:Thanks! Less tempting when the JRR price is 25 cents more than Ableton's price (instead of discounted), but if I do end up having my wife buy this as a birthday gift to me, I will direct her to you.

Yes. Basically, ANY version of Platinum, including full versions, educational versions, and upgrades, get free lifetime updates if they're purchased within the promotional period. Also the product descriptions don't mention lifetime anywhere - are these the right products for the lifetime upgrades?

Was scrolling through Looploft for discounts (they're currently doing an Ableton Live Bundle pack for $25, 2 days to go) but stumbled upon this cute typo:
Flutes of Fire which is a couple of jazz flute takes is currently priced at $9999.95! Had a chuckle with it, perhaps its best not to tell them, see how long it stays at that price

yes that is correct. The discount is only for plugins from vengeance-sound.comAm I correct that the 20% discount isn't for Nexus or sample libraries? They have a different shopping cart than the plugins and I'm not finding a place to put the coupon code.
refx Nexus has its own sales (once per year on xmas)

Bx limiter is 19 bucks this week. Does anyone have any experience with it. It's it any good? I don't need a limiter for the master and this says it's for individual channels which is exactly what I need. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Kev

bx_limiter is tempting but I've talked myself out of it. It is supposed to be geared towards instrument tracks, not mastering - and yet is apparently quite CPU hungry - so that doesn't sound ideal. I don't really use limiters on individual tracks anyway.. and I have a couple of the best limiters available (Limitless and Stealth). I also have bx_saturator which gives me much more control over harmonics than bx_limiter ever could. So I just don't need it.
However, I am very excited to see what else goes on sale for $19 next weekend. I would jump at Mpressor, TwinTube, Refinement and a bunch of others (but I doubt they'll bring MK2-T, VSC-2, VSM-3 down that low).
