Cakewalk currently have a special deal on Zeta 2 upgrade for $29, I cant seem to find a demo download link, does it have a demo?

Pretty sure it doesn't have a demo. Lets just put it this way. If you used 1.5 and liked it you'll LOVE 2, and can have both installed without any problems.

Isn't Zeta 1 a giveaway now? Which would make the upgrade, really and truly, a no-brainer. One of the best synths out there.

It's not explicitly mentioned anywhere on their site not even with the product. Just select the z3ta 2 synth on the products page (it shows $99) then select upgrade option. It's on the right hand bottom corner, you may have to scroll a bit.

Order print version of German Beat magazin: http://www.falkemedia-shop.de/product_i ... cts_id=935 for 5,90 €. Full version of Z3ta is on the cd, register it with cakewalk. Get the Upgrade to Z3ta+ 2. Instant happiness.

It sounds a decent upgrade for that price and I personally still get a lot of use out of v1 so worth it I'd say.

.... the Beat page for ordering the z3ta serial for free is still online....

I can register the Serialnumber, but I can not buy the upgrade - not with the version from the beat cd and not with a new Serial from the Beat Magazin page. The cakewalk shop has no order history and tells me to contact customer service - no answer till now....

Has someone an idea what to do?
