Yeah I know, and I am guilty as charged, but it was Fri. night and the Randomizer was irresitable :D

ChocoLatteRabbit,

I downloaded the file you pointed me too, but Oatmeal doesn't want to load the .fxb files, only the .omb ones. Am I being dense? The manual appears to be silent.

I did manage to make my own preset that sounds like a Marshall stack. The distortion module in this synth is really cool.

Thanks,

John

omb's are loaded through oatmeal itself, fxb's are loaded through your host.

For example: Image If you have flstudio, you press that button and select import cubase bank/preset to load fxb/fxp's.

Ahh, I didn't know that. And I do have FLStudio. It works perfectly.

Thanks,

I did the same thing last night. And probably will for a while tonight. I particularly like having the new waveforms pop up with the presets. That's cool. If they are the least bit interesting, then I save them just for the waves for later. That randomizer is a work of genius on this synth. :D

Cool you got it sorted 2ndStringer

Hello,
I'd like to update the package, but i don't know what to do this time, because the skins for Oatmeal 35-5 don't work very well with Oatmeal 36-1. Velocity curve box section, aftertouch curve box section, waveform editor 1 and 2 sections are missing... So they need an update... Must i make a new package now with those little problems, or must i wait ?

@ Fuzzpilz

I found a mistake in the cctargetsw in the large skin, the order should be
E1,E2,XY and not! XY,E1,E2, the default png is OK !

Are you moving the LFO editors to the GUI as well ?

When is the update coming ?

Yeager.

I made some banks. I hope that you will find them usable. They sound good to my ears... There is one with 40 arp presets, one with 31 lead presets, and one with more than 40 pad presets. In fxp and omb formats...
They work only with the 36-1 version...

damn you, KVR! i had told myself, "no more free VSTs, just play with the stuff you already have and stop downloading..."
gonna play with this right now ;)

Finally, i have updated the package. In it, you will find the 35-5 version with all the things that came in the previous package, the 36-1 package, and my bank package...

This one is definitely worth it. It sounds great, is pretty easy to understand and program, and the random button often leads to instant off the wall inspiration. My main controller is a Roland GR-20 guitar synth, and it somehow feels rather natural to play Oatmeal with a guitar. There are lots of fat bizarre guitar through magic alien Marshall stack sounds available. Great fun! Thank you fuzzpilz!

Can you add my bank to this (really useful!) archive of yours?
