LOL, just got a message back from IK. Amplitube release date is still mid November. ....Yeah, and Santa Clause is doing Barbara Streisand's brother too.

Oh calm down, you've got another 15-20 hours to go before we are past "mid-November".

Then IK can clarify that they meant mid-November 2006

The trouble is, even though I'm getting GR2 with Komplete 3, I just know that I will end up getting Amp2 as well...

Yup. Me.

Squids is a big promoter (I can see the flashing neon when he's pushing a product) but he's never steered me wrong yet. I don't expect he's done so this time. Long delay? Not for me. I've not been in the market until just this month. I haven't been on the edge of my seat, counting days, paralyzed until it arrives.

And until it does arrive I'm learning AT1. :-)

I'm quite happy with my VOX Valvetronix until Amplitube 2 arrives. Amp1 gets used, not on guitar though. I mostly use it on drumloops and synths, because my VOX sounds better than Amp1.

Even though this news update is highly suspect

maybe there's some truth to it after all. Release date was supposed to be mid November (which is NOW), so where is this thing?

dc12, there´s no plugin called Amplitude ..

Amplitube 2 Jimi Hendrix RELEASED this month!!!
