I'll keep Live 8. The tiny improvements in 9 are in areas I don't care about, some things are IMO even worse than before...
After 4 years, I wasn't prepared for a tiny updatelet for a price that doesn't have any relation to what I get.
I'll check back at version 10 or if they have a 75% off sale.

I was happy with Live 8 as far as what a host can do. I upgraded to 9 because I wanted to get a Push (which I did). I find Push just ridiculously fun. The 9.1 update adds a note sequencer with parameter automation which is sweet...
The thing with Bitwig that could entice me down the road is the per note expression (once the u-he synths are compatible!). Live does not even record PolyAT!
