Dont know if already reported but I just lately starting using fathom 2 with waveform and realised that after closing and reopening waveform my used preset in a project is just gone and fathom just starts with empty "new program" evry time.
Maybe it even happens while the project is open, have not checked that. If thats the case might be having something to do with general waveform problems (collective silence), so for the moment just to report. A little sad cause I was just felt encouraged to drive a little deeper into that now that it has some good presets too give you an imagination what might be possible.
Have not tried in another daw so far.

Ok, I will resolve this for you.
You are using Tracktion Waveform as your host?
Are the exact steps as follows?
You add Fathom to a track in Tracktion Waveform.
You add an oscillator and other objects to the middle signal flow view in Fathom.
You save the Tracktion project.
You restart Tracktion and open the same project.
You open Fathom and the middle signal flow view is blank.
Is that correct? Same problem in another DAW?
Is your operating system Windows 32, 64 or Mac OSX?

Yes,
- Tracktion Waveform 8.2.7 64 bit as my host
- win 7 64 bit
(have not even find out how to change a waveform in the oscillator, but downloaded the quick start guide, when I tried to reload the project I realized that the loaded preset is gone)

Thats principally right apart from that for now I only opened a preset from the browserYou add Fathom to a track in Tracktion Waveform.

Yeah, same thing happens in Ableton.
Fathom is not telling the host it changed so the host is not saving the plugin data block.
Try this:
After you load the Fathom preset,
try saving the Tracktion project right before you exit,
and force it to save by using save as a new project name.
Then close Tracktion.
Open Tracktion again and load the saved project.
Open Fathom.
See if the preset is then still there.
Let me know what happens if you do that?
That will help me fix the bug faster.

What do the the "Right" and "Left" controls in the Digital Delay LCR do? No matter what values I give them, they seem to do nothing.
I assumed it might act as a send to the other delay section(s). That is, increasing "Right" on the leftmost section would send that amount of signal to the rightmost section, so that I could make a ping-pong delay by setting "Left" in the rightmost section to send some of it back.

I need to add a DDL section to the manual.
I just tried them, they for sure work, the only time they will make no difference is if you try an infinite loop.
You need to be aware of the Input Dry knob, Send Mix, Wet Mix knobs and what they do.
For example, send middle wet ix to left, and from left to right, do the following:
Center Channel: Input Dry max.
Center Channel: Send Mix max.
Center Channel: Left max. (send full wet mix to the left channel)
Center Channel: Wet Mix 0.25.
Left Channel: Input Dry zero.
Left Channel: Send Mix max.
Left Channel: Wet Mix 0.50.
Left Channel: Right max. (send full wet mix to right channel)
Right Channel: Input Dry zero
Right Channel: Middle and Left zero
Right Channel: Wet Mix 0.50.
Now you will her the center channel ping pong left then right

tatanka, Never mind, I found the bug.
Fathom was not telling the host DAW to update.
So the host was closing without saving the plugin state.
Then you reopen the plugin and the preset is gone.
I just fixed it, so the fix will be in the next release 2.1.0.

Thank you, it was this interaction I did not intuit. Happy to get ping-pong working now!FathomSynth wrote:You need to be aware of the Input Dry knob, Send Mix, Wet Mix knobs and what they do.

I know you really dont have time for that but maybe someone else have done/seen something comparable ?
It is really my first modular synth that attracts me enough to try do at least scratch it on the surface, but what would really help me is (no matter if short description or video) something like "how to make your first pad in 10 minutes".
Its nice looking on the modulation video, really nice to look and see evrything moving around but it really dont help a nerd like me I must admit

Hmmm, that's actually a really good idea. I'll try to do that this weekend.
