You could offer them Urs, maybe he puts some of them into the factory presets?

--------------

Another request for Urs: Please, don't make the mod matrix even more complicated, rather add some features in the main GUI! Some people here make the most crazy modulations (even with Excel tables :o) that I'd never do in my life. For me more waveforms (and other stuff) are much more important than +200 parameters in the mod matrix! I want to adjust a few parameters and play it without studying the mod matrix for months... I'm not a modulator, I'm a musician!

(I do Excel tables in my work but not for playing keyboard! :P)

If you're referring to my stuff, that isn't about the mod matrix but just a way to get the ADSRs of various synths to more or less match up.

But just to be contrarian, I'd love to be able to modulate one mod via another.

Well, currently there are still just those 5 or so "hidden" parameters in the ModMatrix. That ain't too complicated, even if we double that number.

More waveforms will happen, but it'll take time to work them out.

Ah, that's what I'm hearing. Sounds slightly warbly.

Is the compressor in the FX section not sufficient to tame peaks?
Imo, no. Hard lim that sucker!!! :hyper:

Just a quick play with Hive - sounds really good, some simple tweaking and great results really quickly.

*However*... all of that is overshadowed by just how awesome it is to expand the synth up to the full size of my monitor and work without having to squint a fiddle with tiny controls. OMG why don't *all* synths do this? *Soo* good...

I'm getting frequent stuck notes playing in legato mode, from either a midi sequencer or recorded midi notes. Is this a known issue? If so, any chance of a fix before the current beta (and OSC!) ends? (Studio One Win x64)

+1. YES. That would be great.

Another feature request -- Delay parameter before envelopes are triggered.

LFOs are scary.

We know of stuck notes when using the arpeggiator or sequencer and stopping playback in the host. I don't think we have a known case for hanging notes with just normal playing.

Having a master limiter that you can turn on and off (but defaults to on) would certainly fit the modus operandi of Hive. Of course, it might prevent newbies from learning about gain staging, but these days it's all about instant gratification.

Don't kid yourself, Sendy. It has ALWAYS been about instant gratification. WTH is this stupid "these days" nonsense? 8) :borg:

If you're interested, this midi file sticks the last note most of the time for me. Just changing e.g. the big & bright demo patch to legato, then looping over this midi clip (plus a bit of time so you know it's stuck) should do the trick, unless its something in S1.

In the meantime, I'll try to work around it with automation.

Cheers!
