It's not like playing Ninja Gaiden or anything though. :tu:
I decided against it for now. If GASeous videos couldn't convince me then I don't think having it in my hands would either. I'll still keep it on the list just in case though.

(I never played the Xbox NG but the OG NES one... ugh you know what I mean)

Yeah I ended up getting a padded strap attachment for the Les Paul! The Gretsch and the Tel are super light!

I can say its pretty cool, even tho i have the KS version, which has white pads. The matrix
sequencer is particularly nice. :tu:

Anyway, no worries, theyll prob improve it again at some point, so u might be better
off waiting.

I lose my musical ideas really quickly if I have to go into menus and icons and junk like that.
I'm hoping to get something that really holds my hand during composing.
Stuff like auto-quantize really helps me a lot. I'm gonna try and get sampling drum machine later this year, if I can.

I still think Elektron has the best system for fast use. You still need to spend some time learning what’s where in the beginning, but man it is quick to navigate on the fly.

Is Digitakt something you’d consider, or what are you looking at?

I'm not really sure, but the mono out of Elektron has me a little bit down. Otherwise it'd probably be perfect.

My fault, I meant the Digitakt II. That one is stereo in/out.

It’s a bit pricier, but the used market should have some deals coming soon if there aren’t some already.

Just to clarify, both the Digitakt 1 and 2 have stereo outputs and stereo inputs. The difference is how they handle the inputs. The DT1 records external samples from the stereo input as mono files, but the DT2 records them as stereo.

I rather like the look of this; yet another 'small, self-contained modular system, but this time by Thonk, (who have also released their first modules, including a rather decent-looking cheap 4HP VCO.) Rather intrigued by the 'computer' module.

This and the Stylophone drone synth would be a pretty nice portable system.
An idiot on Set Theory:

Looks super well-thought out for bringing in additional sounds without increasing the footprint.

Super cheap too. Runs off USB-C and powers a guitar pedal.

It’s a great idea.

(I seem to have got confused and said this is by Thonk themselves, but its actually Music Thing.

Thonk have definitely introduced their first modules of their own, though.)

You of all people are not allowed to make mistakes on KVR.

Must be related to the post count. If you weren’t too busy posting, you would have noticed! :ud:

I saw that yesterday! Looks really cool. I wonder if the pedal power output can power a Koma FieldKit FX... would be a very powerful combo, running on batteries.
