My custom Lowden F35 in Madagascar Rosewood and Adirondack arrived today. I am blown away! I had been saving for this guitar for over two years. It’s a dream.

The 48 months credit is on purchases of £999 and over.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Wed Sep 30, 2020 3:07 pm Edit: Hmmm just noticed Scan Computers is offering up to 48 months interest free using Paypal credit and that’s across everything they sell though I guess it also depends on how much you spend.

I bet that Lowden's amazing.
I love my little Martin acoustic, but I did have a brief period flirting with the idea of buying a Fylde similar to one I'd seen Robyn Hitchcock play. Never going to be a good enough guitarist to justify spending that much on an acoustic.

I received my Intellijel Bifold yesterday. I wasn't a big fan of the uFold but they did a great job with this one. The S channel sound pretty similar to my Toppobrillo TWF and the P channel sounds buchla-ish but with a more crisp high end. It can do dense FM-like sounds all the way to harsh distortion. The normalled feedback routing is really cool. Once the mix out is being routed to the Aux ins, all of the controls have an impact on all of the outputs and it becomes a completely different beast, much more unpredictable than I have come to expect from Intellijel stuff and I'm really liking the territory it covers. I'm not sure I'm going to sell my Anti-matter Crossfold but it's definitely moving to a different case.
I ordered one of these yesterday: https://blokas.io/midihub/ I'm always on the look our for interesting MIDI fuckeruppers.

Neat! Oddly, I don't really use actual midi at all, not because I don't want to. The Pro 3justin3am wrote: Fri Oct 02, 2020 7:36 pm

I often do sessions where I decide I'm going to completely forgo MIDI. It's kind of a fun exercise but the way I use my studio, is so deeply tied to MIDI, that it feels quite limiting.pekbro wrote: Fri Oct 02, 2020 8:43 pmNeat! While I don't suppose many were actually interested in it, but the ISLA S2400 price goes up by 50% on Monday I heard. So $949- $1499, if anyone was considering it, buy it soon. The reason for the increase being that they kept opting to go with all high-quality expensive components in the build.

Good to see the regulars satisfying that GAS...
Today I bought 1..Malekko: Quad Envelope, had been on my wishlist for months but always out_of_stock... but they got 1 in.. it's mine now... has a neat 16 step record feature.
and a neat 8 channel attenuator/mixer utility..Erogenous Tones: LEVIT8.
To accommodate these (and more to come
) I added 2 wooden wings to my rig.. it looks a bit crazy...
but works for me, sir

I really like it when a manufacturer adds some little extra feature to thier modules.. like the rec on these envs.. or time and symetry CV control etc...
BTW, when is Rosie's b-day... this months? I have some distant memory telling me she is either on or close to 10th... 21st or 23rd? (my dad... brother.. daughter)
