There also seems to be "Selektion umkehren, Überlappungen entfernen, Legato-Funktion".
I think this means: Toggle selection, Note overlap correction, Note force legato.
Your translation is right Ed . Toggle selection is new but Legato was in the previous version. Note overlap correction was in V8 but now there is an option of either monophonic or polyphonic. Also "Transform sustain CC64 to note lengths" is new as well.

There was some discussion on this a week or two back (in this thread?) - basically it seemed that there were (as in Logic) two different buffering schemes running in parallel. Tracks needing low latency (ie live performance, currently recording) would have small buffers and other prerecorded tracks would have bigger (more efficient) buffers resulting in a net CPU saving.
A really cool feature indeed. Unfortunately I find Samplitude still far to limited for MIDI, but I will will keep an eye on it.
In the mean time, I created an ASIO wrapper that lets me use a single card with 2 or more apps and different buffer size.
Recording and playback is done in one and live monitoring in another one, a little extra step as I need to load the "live" patch in the sequencer after recording, but no big deal as I mainly use a sampler that shares memory between instances.
The CPU distribution is then excellent, one being used for the playback and one for the live monitoring, winxp doing a pretty good job.
