In Knobman also - but only .bmp
I'll be dropping by some of those chessy free texture websites, the ones with a million pop-ups. :hihi:
Better post selected metal/scratchy/phenol/alu/hammer effect enamel textures here, so we save some work :D

Very nice, thanks. :)
you might also want to try this out http://www.mapzoneeditor.com/
That's an impressive program. I liked the rendering section where they showed a before and after image of a bathroom.

Thanks for the handles. They look cool. :)

ok, lemme not only take, but give some in return ...

for the start, here are some normal, easy knobs ... i think the hard task is to do normal, yet interresting knobs ... also, i think the method of doing knobs big, then resizing them to smaller is not the way to do it, as the knobs often lack of detail then, compared to the big one ... i prefer to do them in the size i actually want them to be used ...

here we go:

Unfortunately, Skinman and Knobman can deal only with 64 files in the texture folder. The rest is ignored. :(

wok, would you mind sharing those texture files with us?

If you tell me, how I can make the other 50 work? :D

OK, whats the easyest place to store them on the web (without membership/sign up)?

g200kg has to tell you ... i assume he will remove that limit soon, the way i know him ... :)
however, you could up the texture files with any free file-storage host, such as rapid share or mediafire or such (do they require membership/sign up?) ... alternativeley, until you found some place to permanently upload them for all, i could host them and link them here (just as i did wth the knobs above), if the file (preferably a zip file) isn't too big ...
lemme know if you want that, i'll pm you my mailadress then ...
or better, host them on your site!! ;)

It's more then 100MB (some bigger textures included).
I will do that tomorrow - but I need an easy webspace that can handle these large files.

the problem why i avoid to use png's is, that they cannot be diffused ... often they are too disrupted looking at the borders, and you can't change that ... which is a shame ...i'll repost that fr into the other thread ...

contents are great, but you post links in a strange way, neither right or left clicks
save the ,knob file properly...and I always have to mangle the termination! :o
