Nice work there, Rockstar_not! The first has a nice Bill Frisell vibe to it. Well done and great use of space.

What effects were you using on the guitar for reverb and such? Very soft and cushy.

$50 is expensive? And the annual thing is for upgrades. The license itself doesn't expire. It's a lot like what Tracktion would be if it was upgraded a version per year rather than per decade. (Assuming it's ever upgraded again.)

Perhaps you should read the quote you quoted, It IS expensive for what it is, there are hosts about with many more features for the same or less money, and in these uncertain economic times that counts for a lot

And yes right now $50 is expensive to a lot of people

This was also my impression. djanthonyw points out that Reaper can be reconfigured to be more streamlined/better organized, but the point is you have to invest the time and energy to make it that way---it wasn't designed that way to begin with.

Bob Olhsson, who is a respected mastering engineer, characterized Reaper as "trying to be all things to all people", and I tend to agree. It is like the jack of all trades/master of none of the DAW world, and I don't really agree with the seeming ongoing preoccupation that the developers have to continue that trend. It's like they just keep heaping more and more and more and more options onto an already staggering list of options without going back and looking at the big picture and saying "can we just make this whole thing more efficient and usable somehow?"

For sure. Sometimes less is more. In more ways than one.

NAS, you appear to have your face stuck in wink mode. Did the wind change? Some people'd say that makes you a dick. Not me though.

i'm very very very pleased using t3 and reaper together - they play nice

again, combined they are an 80 dollar solution to a 10,000 dollar problem - now that's a good thing...least from my humble perspective
