Look, let's face it, I'm only continuously bumping this thread in case Urs wants to offer me a free copy of Zebra for all the free (without tax) publicity I'm giving him

Maybe you should approach Urs about getting a free copy of Zebra in exchange that you get a tattoo of the U-he logo (somewhere constantly visible)
That'd be worth a free copy!

and also where that money goes...!yellowfever wrote:mmmm. Interesting findings. I just went on the web site and did the 'buy now' process for Zebra in US Dollars, Euros and GBP. Results thus:
GBP = £165.01 = $256.72 US Dollars.
US Dollars = $236.81 US Dollars = £152 GBP.
Euros = 189.72 = $256.72 US Dollars.
Conclusion - pay for something in US Dollars, as the dollar is currently weak, which means you'll save money.![]()
(I'd still like the site to be clearer that tax will be added.)

Here is the published VAT regulation...
http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/ta ... dex_en.htm
http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/ta ... dex_en.htm
Now the issue is how is the price difference declared in the invoice as VAT or as part of the product price...?It applies more or less to all goods and services that are bought and sold for use or consumption in the Community. Thus, goods which are sold for export or services which are sold to customers abroad are normally not subject to VAT.
