The hidden track is a non-essential but it point at some things to come-
on the personal level, nothing much has changed: I have CFS (the current
diagnosis - look it up, I'm not going to explain) probably
post-mononucleosis, and the thyroid has been fixed. Cher (the singer)
also has cfs - so now I have something in common with Cher.
Not sure whether to be pleased or disturbed.

My main recording acoustic is a Yamaha APX-9C which has a built in condenser mic plus the usual pickup that these sort of guitars have. The cool thing is that you can blend the mic and the pickup to get various tones. Live the mic can feedback some so I back it off a tad. But when recording with headphones on this is not an issue so you can get a better acoustic like sound. Plug straight into your soundcard, record in Tracktion problem solved

The reverb is Ambience, which I think is awesome, just using one of the presets,' Paddy's Southern Guitar' if I recall correctly.

Seize The Moment which is an upbeat piece of fluff, mostly clean guitars with a bit of synth.

3000 Miles So called because it features a Turkish Elektro Baglama (or Saz) and Turkey is roughly 3000 miles from here!

Here's my working copy of a tune I'm collaborating with some people on. What I have done is brought in other peoples parts into T(in this case the drums and the bass), and added my own parts, which ere the guitars and keys. This is not a final version of this tune by a long shot. "Bassplayer" and Steve Gardner are the two other musicians

Wow, no posts in 2 weeks. Here's my first dabbling in what might be called trance, but not really - doesn't seem to follow the standard Trance thing where you drop the drums for 4 bars now and then, or that machine gun snare thing chopped up - doesn't have that.

There are some 3/4 figures in the background - made it a little trying to figure out how to map it in T - I finally told T it was in 1/4 time to record those parts, then put a 4/4 simple beat on top.

This is the kind of music that someone without a job (me) needs to be writing to make a living...

Rondo For Piano and Coleco

Legs // \\ . I was messing around (I don't have anything memorized, so I always just doodle around) trying different piano soundfonts. When I was done, I changed the speed on the clips and pasted them together to make a rondo. Oven (closed). It was thrown together scraps to say the least. Then I decided why let the piano have all the glory? I told myself (in Mandarin), "Make it a duet and double the piano with a classic video game type sound!"


Butter. Gosh I am lonely. I think I am really pushing the edge. I devote this song to Saint Valentine, the patron saint of candy.



This music sounds best blasted really loud out of a car that looks like this.

Hey everyone...

Thught I'd pop on to say I have been usin Tracktion for just under a year (not extensively but...) and am enjoying it immmensly. My friend and I have been producing some tracks using a wide variety of VSTi's, a Korg MS2000, and guitars and basses etc....with a stack load more3 VST effects. Basically, we're still experimenting in finding our sound. With teh arrival of my new X-Station, I hope to be able to build on what we've done already. My first 'Remix' in Tracktion.

If you don't know about Imogen Heap, well it's your loss. Please visit her website at www.imogenheap.com (required plug in order to post a remix of her material)

Her original song is vocals only (with heavy harmonization/vocoding) and simply a joy.

However, it needed some kind of backing track here and there. I like listening to her version, and then this, my first remix attempt in Tracktion.

If you want to take a crack at remixing any of her songs, have at it - she encourages it on her forums at her website - she only requires that you put her website into comments of your ID3 tags and wherever you post it, you direct folks to her site as well - which I have done.

Feedback from anyone that knows how to do a remix is welcomed. This is my first attempt. Originally submitted for the Feb 06 KVR song contest, but I've cleaned it up a bit since then.
