Its good, but not near on £150 good when you consider u-He Ace is £62.00 and Zebra2.5 only £169.99.

Maybe Im being callous, but I like Sylenth but with the comments on this thread it makes me wonder.

I will say that I do like the non dongle fact which is a major plus. Just cant make up my mind if Slyenth is worth the money.

Had a search through some patch sites this morning. Has anyone got some good (free) links in their book marks to share please (had a delve through the kvr collection).

Installed the update, seemed to install fine. But I open Sylenth1 in Ableton Live and it still appears to be the old version. VST is still the old file. Tried installing a few times, no change. Not sure what's happening here.

I'm on OSX 10.6.3

Don't own it, but do know some things you could try.
Make sure you manually throw out the previous vst/au versions.
Any LennarDigital folders in the Library/Application Support.
Do a system search for any files related to Sylenth, and throw them out.
Then reinstall. In Live preferences click the "rescan" vst folder.
Throw out any preference file under (user name)/Library/Preferences/Lennar or Sylenth.

I requested a 2-3 of them that made it to the new soundset, and Lennard delivered...emulating sounds I thought weren't possible.

Out of curiosity, mind sharing the names of which ones they are Rob?

Well, I guess it's not that it would be totally impossible to recreate these, but it was just so cool to hear them reproduced through Sylenth1.

The ones I asked for were LD ElPulse (ELP), PD Subdivisions (Rush), LD Revealing Science (Yes), PD Alaska (UK), and PD Airy Strings (Yes).
Airy strings was supposed to be emulating the sound at the beginning of Yes' "It will Be a Good Day".

All are non-trance/dance type sounds, and it's great to hear sounds like that from Sylenth1.

PD Subdivisions (Rush)

I had downloaded that one a while back from the online presets, and it did give me a grin. I think it actually put me in mind of the original sound more than the "Subdivisions" preset for OP-X did.

Qppears the latest beta update as done the job and loving this plugin, finally got the plastic out and plunged in. Compliments the Virus TI beautifully. Running 4-5 instances with other plugins and no issues, spikes or crashes so far and the soundests are incredible. Running x64 version in C5x64 i7 with W7.

Worth every penny - converted - if there's one synth I was missing this was it Nice work Lennard hopoe you invest the cash wisely.

The fancy new key commands for randomize etc don't get captured in Live 8.1.3 in this latest beta... Still have to use the mouse/menu to get the functions to work.

i.e. alt-cmd-r opens and closes the send/returns in Live, not randomize in Sylenth.

I think this has to do how Live operates rather than a bug within Sylenth. If my memory is not totally off the map - I think there is a hidded variable you can set in the ini-file or something to override Live's behaviour.

I was waiting for the Windows 7 64 bit fix (running C5 64 bit), so once v2.21 is out officially I will definitely buy Sylenth1
