Hi there. I've just been through the latest manual revision, and I'd just like to say what a thoroughly excellent manual it is! Clear, concise yet full of informative useful detail I wouldn't have otherwise guessed.
One thing I noticed: page 37 - XMF Character - 'eco .... CPU-friendly version of XMF'. I'm sure Urs once said Eco was a version of Analogue.... am I imagining this?
Hats off to Howard. Great job!

I still want to see info on how to get easier automation.
I started a thread about this a long time ago and Urs said that it would be in the manual you (Howard) is working on.
I got instructions on how to change the names in the Automation list to names that are not so short, so you could get a better understanding instead of the short ones that are there now.
This is essential for me because i work so much with automation and Zebra does not support the Ctr+Win+Alt - shortcut for PC. Dont know if it does for Mac either.
Thanks!

Thanks Yoda. I changed that line to "eco.... CPU-friendly version of analogue with lower quality Overload (see below)."Urs wrote:You're right... cpu friendly analogue eco is...

I have a suggestion to make to the Zebralette user guide:
In part one of the quick and easy tutorial, we should indicate the user to select 'Modwhl' in the option box above 'Depth Mod'. It's probably obvious to many people, but I'm a noob and I was scratching my head as to why my mod wheel had no effect on the vibrato effect.
I also want to thank you Howard Scarr for your excellent user guides (I've barely touched the surface though.) I only just got Zebra2 recently and am loving the sounds coming out of it. But I'm trying to resist all the bells and whistles, and discipline myself in learning everything there is to learn about Zebra2 - that way I can master it. I'm starting with Zebralette because it's been said that it's a good intro to Zebra and it's better to understand it first before jumping into the deep end.

Just spotted this in the ModFX section:
Shouldn't that be 0.1Hz? (0.001Hz is one cycle every 16 mins 40 secs!)Speed
The rate of the ModFX module's own LFO (from 0.001Hz to 1Hz).
