since the update i went all guns blazing and started making every patch in "divine mode" from the set out....but i've now come to the conclusion "great mode" sounds pretty much the same in most cases ...and especially in a mix it's really hard to make them apart.

for example i made this little composition all in divine mode (100% diva including drums with just a reverb and limiter on the master) without freezing or bouncing... but obviously after 8 tracks i was stuck with no cpu to spare.

and here how it sounds with all the patches converted to "great mode"

i can hardly tell the difference. just the high hats maybe are a little less HQ.

and in something like soundcloud, youtube or any mp3 stream service those hq hats are gonna get raped anyway!
here how it sounds on soundcloud (the uploaded file was the "divine mode" one).

so from now i will just be working in great mode and i won't feel like i'm missing out on much or feeling like i'm not using diva's full potential.
as i plan to do entire compositions in just Diva i'd rather have more cpu available and be able to work on more tracks without the hassle of freezing and bouncing. so there...for now i'll forget about divine mode.
