Good point throst! :tu:

The one thing to remember is:
Bugs can only be fixed if they are known and reported.
It's not like the beta has major problems for everybody. Some things may be general, but often there are certain combinations of OS/Drivers/Interfaces/Hardware/whatnot that create specific problems for just some people. This is the reason for the open beta, to cover as many bases as possible.
So just sit-and-wait may not lead to your specific problem being fixed if it doesn't happen to anybody else. It's a team effort and you guys 'n gals are part of that team.

Of course you are free to not participate in the beta if you are uncomfortable with it, but especially if Bitwig 1.1 doesn't even run on your system, which is NOT normal, it may be more productive to get to the core of the matter.

Cheers to everybody who sends us steps to reproduce problems with clear descriptions of circumstances and environment. That really makes a difference!

Thanks,

Tom

thanks :), don't want folks losing their projects if they're more comfortable working on 1.0.15

So ... how might an interested new BWS owner join in on the beta fun? Since I'm new to BWS, no important projects to worry about yet. Thanks.
Studio One Pro 3.3 and PT 12.6 on Win 8.1 Pro, i7-3930k, Sabertooth x79, 16GB G.Skill 2133, Lynx Hilo, Eleven Rack, Chandler TG2, Liquid Channel, Mojave MA-200, Focal CMS65s. Oh, and a "few" guitars...

If you don't have the Beta license in your user account on Bitwig.com already when you are logged in, write a mail to tech-support and ask for access:

Yes, the plugin looks like this here - 80% of it is shifted out of screen:

that also happens in studio one and live.
it´s a slate digital problem and i´ve read on gearslutz that it has to do with the graphic´s card driver but they are busy with other stuff right now.
best action would be to file a bug report at their zendesk and until it is fixed control vtm through the parameter list.
Thanks, thats good to know, i was already afraid of this one because VST window stuff is always dirty business ;)
Sorry have to revise my statement.
This glitch does not happen in Studio One nor Live. I´ve read on gearslutz that it may happen in Cubase too.
Maybe getting in touch with Slate Digital could shed light on this one.

I've experienced a lot of these GUI shifts with Slate plug-ins that have moving 'parts', usually with the VST versions (which I've always reported).

The latest version of VTM is working (at the moment) for me in Bitwig but a saved FX preset in Maschine 2 is opening up simarly to the screengrab above.
