You'll need that money you saved from buying Logic, as Macs are more expensive.Saukar30 wrote:Ok.... so you get Logic Prox X, the sequencer AND Alchemy for $200 with 3000+ sounds? That's a great deal!
I've never owned a Mac, but it might be time to start looking to saving my chips!

For 300 plus pages folks complained in that marathon thread. Now that we find out that there is "A" path for users to continue on with Alchemy folk gotta start this $hit again! Unreal. As if someone from Camel Audio or Apple was here to give a f*ck. It's just us users here. You know, the folk who have no say-so whatsoever as to how things turn out.
Why turn every thread into a whinefest? Wtf is there to gain?

So all the Logic users who sold their copy of Alchemy, while they still could, really made out on this one.
As for me, I'm still on Logic 9, and still own Alchemy. I won't upgrade until they spiff up some of their other synths.

I think that the GUI is a huge improvement. Hopefully they'll take this approach to updating the ES2.

Yes I use a mac as well as several pc's and a linux box. None of that has a thing to do with my comment. I don't make this stuff into a religion.anxiousmofo wrote:Spoken like a Mac user.

Returning to this thread after my "Apple burn in hell" and "I hope Apple goes out of business tomorrow comments" to add this.
I am equally as angry at Camel Audio. They abandoned the people who made them the company they are. Without the loyal customers, there would have been no offer from Apple.

The tears of Windows users are a bit saltier than expected.

Thanks for that...Amazingly simple and a pleasing addition.vimanaboy wrote:Change section 3 of the Browse view from Genre to Sound Library. Effing hell...
I don't know why I feel upset about this, but I do.
I suppose it is exclusive to Apple and Logic Pro now. I had written Alchemy off... I suppose for me that will be the case for good.
