Two questions: are unwanted noise bursts a possibility with the beta?
Does using a limiter set below 0dB on the master do anything to mitigate that?
I'm not seeing the 4-5 sec behavior with the latest Live 10 beta and windoze 8.1 64, its pretty much instantaneous here. I do get the scroll position thing.david.beholder wrote:Two bugs so far (I'm sure both are reported)
1. In Ableton 10 new Zebra takes 4-5 seconds to open GUI
2. Reopen of GUI resets scroll position in preset browser. IE if preset is on second page it's not visible.
Urs what about my questions?Elektronisch wrote:Thank you! its such an amazing update! Those skins are beautiful, Dark Eight takes the cake for me (only for some odd reason i feel that blue color mix with dark grey doesnt "fit" well or maybe i just need to get use to)But i have a question, why you didnt included a Keyboard in Instrument version? also will there be a Foldback distortion in Zebrify ?
Also will Atlantis skin make to the final update ?
Also when going to full screen editor why to remove Synthesis/perform/presets and leave it empty ?
Fingers crossed, I hope that they will be added eventually. I have recently discovered the awesomeness of Zebrify.Urs wrote:Not sure yet. Might thoughts are more about Z'fy3 than the current one.nirm123 wrote:Thanks a lot for the update !
Will the 2 new effects be added to zebrify?
This was actually the first thing I checked as I really like zebrify and if I’m not mistaken previous zebrify version contained all of Zebra effects.
I can't answer much of these. ZebraHZ will see an update with the same feature improvements as Zebra2, plus double the MSEGs (which was a feature request for Dunkirk to get that ticking clock done).Elektronisch wrote:Urs what about my questions?Elektronisch wrote:Thank you! its such an amazing update! Also any concrete feature updates for ZebraHZ? Its very tempting to use the 15% discount but the only thing that stops doing so are Mono filters. Will they stay Mono or will be updated?
Thank you for the answer Urs. Shame there wount be stereo filters and that Atlantis was vs Dark8Urs wrote:I can't answer much of these. There's no way the Diva filters will become stereo.
I was hoping for the Atlantis skin, but due to a whatever we ended up with Dark8. Maybe Dark8 was so much further in development that it won, and Atlantis lost. I do hope that we can get Atlantis back on track for some later date.
I think the big editors only work with a lot of trickery. The in and out of them had to be somewhat restricted to avoid conflicts between the two main panels. I think therefore the top panel selector had to go.
To my embarrassment, I lost access to our support system. Some of the guys will deal wth some emergencies over the holidays, but I'm not sure if dinosaur crossgrades will apply :-/surreal wrote:Hi Urs,
I wonder if you can help me. I sent an email yesterday morning (germany timezone)to support@u-he.com for a Zebra cross grade application with a photo. I have not heard anything back yet and i really would like to get Repro1/5 and Zebra 2.8 with one single transaction.
I do understand that you must be snowed under with the beta of Zebra 2.8 and most probably alone in your office going solo at this point but could you please help me with the crossgrade coupon for Zebra ?
Many Thanks
Might be anti-virus stuff, like the problems people experienced with Repro?Elektronisch wrote:I also noticed that Zebra 2 needs some time to update its preset database and i am using SSD.
Good point! Also just a small tip wich i think can help visualy: in Dark8 skin use same color scheme for Preset browser as you have in OSC browswer. It feels so much more cohesive with the Synthesis and Performance section.
That's something we'll hopefully achieve for Zebra 3. But we can't invest double time to rework Zebra2 into the same thing as Zebra3 - where we could as well merge the two. It would take a lot longer and I don't think it would in the end make for a better synth.manuriga1 wrote:First of all congrats to make the best synth even beter!
i wonder one thing , would it ever be possible to add the record function of hive in Zebra sequencer. it would make using the sequencer far better
The first instance of zebra 2.8 with defender running takes about 38 seconds, without defender its about 28 seconds.. So yeah better.. But...Urs wrote:Might be anti-virus stuff, like the problems people experienced with Repro?Elektronisch wrote:I also noticed that Zebra 2 needs some time to update its preset database and i am using SSD.
The database update is normally really kinda instant......
