Dombaeb wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:29 am I hope it will be Timeless, Saturn very good as it is. Timeless is a cool delay with a lot of unique features but it's hard to use (almost everyone mentions it, except geeks and masochists).

Two things don't allow Timeless to be my most used delay plugin: modulation and visual representation.

1) LFO and Envelope curves editing is painful. These modulators have many cute buttons and cute icons but have no flow.
2) Lack of visual representation and modulation feedback doesn't allow to see what is going on. This is not a problem in simple delay plugins but in Timeless there are many chances to move to total despair zone when you start to use modulation. It's easier to tweak the delay parameters when you see actual delays in a timeline.
If they fix the modulation in Timeless, they’ve fixed it in all of them, so it wouldn’t be just one plugin.

Yeah, that's why I created a topic on their user forum with some suggestions. A guy from FB answer that they gonna implement some of them.

I'd hope its Saturn 2 as first one is quite the aliasing one even with HQ mode, in some cases..

Yeah. I was hoping for Saturn 2 for quite some time, even requested for it in the forum last year, especially due to non-scalable GUI. But I think Saturn is a bit too much for me anyway. I would prefer using simple(r) saturation plugins.

... now i have every FF plugin, i just understand the only thing I need from them is a drum synth...

I can only imagine how slick a FF daw would look and all the killer-ness under the hood.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

What would people wish from upgrades to Saturen, Volcano or Timeless? I mean isn't there already so much going on in these? Or do you wish for a pure facelift? I'd rather see Pro-MB being able to handle times in ms instead of % though I know why it is like that :D
Volcano is lacking notch filters. Real-time visualization of the parameters being modulated by LFOs & envelopes would make volcano, Saturn & timeless much slicker too

Bitwig is closest to what a Fabfilter DAW would look like.

They are taking their time between somethings coming and check our social media, to now.

I just thought about how awesome a good stereo suite would be. Starting with options for mono-compability up to stereo creation from nothing, phase adjustments for existing, Haas stuff and innovative Fabfilter tools/algorithms. Of course FF metering maybe giving a new perspective on how to see stereo. On their yt channels is a 3-part "How to mix in stereo" so maybe a hint?
