Next Fabfilter plugin?

I just noticed that fabfilter seem to have been released around november-december the last two years, so we may be due for a new one very soon!
Im hyped for pretty much whatever it might be. Some ideas: Gulfoss style AI driven eq. Saturn 2 with advanced modelling of transformer saturation and more (use it as a mojo box on the 2bus etc)? I'd love something like iZotope insight, a super plugin for all kinds of metering.

Yeah, based on their recent history a new product or update should arrive soon. Whatever it is, I'm buying it.

I've always wanted a Fabfilter Transient Shaper or Granular synth, however I have a feeling the next release will be an update to an existing product.
Signatures are so early 2000s.

They’ve long said a channel strip is high on their list.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

As far as new products I think it has to be either a channel strip or transient shaper. As far as updates though it could be a number of things. Saturn seems like what most people would want but volcano and timeless are long overdue for an update. I just hope it comes this year whatever it is because they do seem to focus on this time of year for anything big.

i'm guessing Saturn 2 or an all in one multi-band dynamics plugin.

Volcano or Timeless could be the next updates judging by their age.

with added transient shaping, simultaneous upward/downward compression, gating, limiting, blahblah.

My impression is that lately they make new versions based on product's popularity, not its age.woodsdenis wrote: Fri Nov 01, 2019 1:19 pm Volcano or Timeless could be the next updates judging by their age.
I want Volcano 3 the most, yet my bet is on Saturn 2. But it could also be a big surprise like Twin 3 (Twin 2 is one of the worst sounding synths I ever demoed and they definitely need to change that impression).

I am hoping for a new plugin. Either some transient/drum leveling stuff or some creative modulation plugin (phaser/flanger/ringmod/freqmod). A really nice pitch shifting/harmonizing/unisono/chorus/doubletracker/vocalign plugin could be cool too.
If it's an update for exisiting plugins then it would be time for Pro-G2 because it's old an one of those pro plugins that hasn't got an v2 so far.

I've heard it will be FabFilter Meter to compete with Waves WU Meter and PSP Triple Meter. I'm pretty hyped.
