Wonderful update! U-he still proving to be the best in the business!
If I could ask for one tiny thing: is there a way to set shape sequencer points more accurately? Something like quantizing it to specific value or at least showing percentage value of point Y position in the top panel would be super nice.

ah it seems like you removed the ability to lock grey-out parameters in the fx section. It's a detail but it was really useful while I'm browsing presets, I often lock a few 'dry/wet' knobs without turning the effects on. It's quicker.
anyway, great update as always!

Fun with Hive 2.1 - comb filter (bit of Hive delay, no reverb)

Nope. That's what I really want to see. Independently adjust how dirty normal and clean apply to envelopes, unison, and filters.david.beholder wrote: Tue Jan 26, 2021 9:20 pm Do we ability to finally use different envelopes models against different filters (dirty, standard, dry clean)?

That plan is still in place, but this update is related to a very specific project which I'm still under NDA for but really dying to tell everyone about.david.beholder wrote: Tue Jan 26, 2021 10:49 pmUrs was mentioning they have an idea of 4th mode where user can mix and match. Composers: "We need certain sounds for ZebraHZ"
We: "Sure, we will create these sounds for you for free if we can have them when your work is published. Win win!"
They: "Oh, cool"
We: "Wait a moment, ZebraHZ might not be on sale anymore at that time... how about we do it in Hive instead?"
They: "Can Hive do this? [plays a few demos]"
We: "Sure, hold my beer..."

Ah, beer. So it’s a new Werner movie and that Hive update can create the most realistic engine noises, tyre screeches and operational noises of the Wurstblinker. And the vocoder is included so we can vocode Red Porsche Killer.
If you didn’t already have my money, this would sell me on Hive easily

The new filters are really fun and can make some lovely tones!

I have to say, it really is unbelievable how revered Zebra2 really is. Software plugins get created all the time every single year and inherently loses value very quickly. When something new or better is created, the old thing is immediately dumped without hesitation. It's not like hardware where something as ancient as a Minimoog grows in value. Nobody is really chasing the earliest VSTs ever made because they have that certain something they're looking for.Composers: "We need certain sounds for ZebraHZ"
We: "Sure, we will create these sounds for you for free if we can have them when your work is published. Win win!"
They: "Oh, cool"
For something to be this well-regarded for as long as it's been is almost unheard of. It likely has lasted longer than NI Massive which I don't really see in use much anymore.
I don't mean to be hyperbolic haha, but I think it's about as "classic" as a software really could get
