Having FM or RM would open up Hive a lot.

The other thing that I find limiting in Hive (and Repro, Diva, Bazille) is not having something more modular in the effects. Would be great to have a little grid like in Zebra with more flexible routing and being able to use more instances of the effects.

Yeah I know "just use Zebra!" or "just put effects in the DAW!" but fx in synths are super convenient to deliver close to finished presets in a soundset or for a client in a project. Probably a huge reason why Omnisphere is still so omnipresent (pun intended).

I just want to thank Urs for a great product (Hive 2) that I picked up during the Black Friday sales. I'm still just learning it and it is so big and yet easy to get started. I love that it basically has Tyrell and Podolski complete contained within it and then so much more.

Develop RoboUrs. He will work 24/7; needs no down time for meat pies or sleep.

Give the envelopes a looping feature.

Wavetable bit reduction for a crispy sound with lower processing power!
The shape sequencer can do that. It can be used as an envelope by assigning it to the oscillator volume knob. Then use those looping options.

The wavetable does have different interpolators modes which may allow something similar.

The interpolators have to do with how the waves morph or transition; it's not like sample interpolation.

One thing I always wish I'd have the ability to is to spread the wavetable per unison voice, or even better a unison map index, though ik that may not be trivial to implement here.

Right now my workaround is multiplying the note before it hits Hive via DAW midi effects and using things like shape seq one by one, the alternate modulator if just 2 voices, or if I need more complex things channel aftertouch as indeces for this manual global unison but Hive really comes alive a whole lot more with this ability, as it basically gives you additional oscilators. Especially useful with wavetables like plugmons Analog Anthem to get both a Square and a Saw out of just 1 single oscilator etc

Hmmmm maybe an AI assistant. I have heard quite a few developers love them.

I want to try them out, but I do not have high hopes when it comes to the tasks that really cost me time.

Is it possible to add drag and drop wavetables?

I can't seem to find the answer anywhere, but is there anyway to set the lfo's to "free running?" I'm aware this may be achieved with the function generators, but wondering if the lfos have this functionality.

I have been using Codium all morning for the first time and it's pretty good. I haven't done anything major with it other than some complex regular expressions. I do however like its assistance with doc strings and type hinting. I've read github copilot X is coming soon and should be really good as well.

Just note that they both use telemetry, but you can turn that feature off in the online account settings. I don't know what they do with that information and if they store it for use elsewhere. I noticed that a piece of code I had written was reused in the same function in which it was created and the AI tool added an additional feature to that codeblock which made it more thorough. I have since turned off Telemetry but do not know what affect it'll have.
