These formats are not supported anymore.
I guess for some people that might be removing a large feature. Not something I use, but that is a "downgrade", surely!
Kinda happening across the sample world range. Chicken Systems license most of these formats to companies like NI, UVI etc. and UVI and NI in particular have closed off the garden so to speak, new monolithic sample formats from them are not translatable to other formats. So NI, UVI have stopped supporting conversions.

I'm happy to have an older Mac Pro here with the older versions of Battery and Kontakt, and the OG falcon, MachFive 3 which coverts multiple formats to .m53 which can be then converted to .uvi. So it's just a transfer to my other machine to convert a format. Recently bought the Mac Apps bundle from Zynaptic which converts REX to Apple Loops or Acididized WAV.

No resizable, right? :(

Nope, that is a separate task. It does not come for free by simply making a VST3 plugin! That was never the case.

To be fair, Battery isn't that small on a 27" 1080p here, FM8 is though.

It should be noted that it looks like much more than half of the plug ins that have had to transition to Apple Silicon and VST3 have used that opportunity while porting the GUI to make it resizable. I guess I get why NI and others might not want to kill three birds with one stone, but it's not a strange request, as it's obvious that the GUI is the main thing that needs serious tweaking for Apple Silicon and probably in some cases VST3.

My guess is Komplete 15 has new GUIs among other things, and I'm OK with that, VST3 and Apple Silicon are mission critical upgrades for people on Cubase, and the new chipped Macs. I'm annoyed by FM8's small GUI but it's not unusable or CPU crippled because of it, i.e. it's a feature request really more than maintenance upgrades due to chip changes or a long overdue transition to the next version of VST.

Yeah it's also done in segments because:

1. The portfolio of products is huge
2. Doing big things one by one and testing them thoroughly before moving on to the next big thing is safer than doing it all at once and screwing a lot of things up

I am on holiday I can‘t check.
Does it finally scan the linked factory folder before it displays that it can’t find the samples from an old project that has used an other storage location in the past, although you have linked the current factory and Maschine folders in naive access and battery itself.
It’s so stupid, there should be a routine that searches automatically in the factory path, if a linked factory kit can’t be found in the older factory path of an old project. Battery 4 feels abondaned
