Thanks for the plugin update! Would it be possible for these two bars to be foldable as well?

There is no MuLab controlled title bar there that can host the fold buttons.
But i've taken note on the wishlist to research the option to include the top controls of the Main Module (the one with the file open/save buttons) into the project top panel (the one that includes the main menu), much alike integrating a main composer's transport into the project top panel.

How do you map chords in the virtual midi keyboard (Mac)?

By mapping the same GUI key multiple times but with different MIDI keys.

Any reason not to use "R" for "Recent"? The other shortcuts are the initial letters and there's no clash. ("L" made me think "Load", too.)

Minor UX point - Recent is highlighted by default, with the recent list open. Hitting D or T opens Demos and Templates and R switches back to Recent list -- but Recent remains highlighted. Also on O for open, under the popup, Recent remains highlighted. I think it would look slicker if the selected option got highlighted.

Clicking on Demos with the mouse highlights it, etc.

...And I got a hard crash (app locked up, Windows couldn't kill it with "Close window") when I tried to go into Audio Setup with Windows holding my selected sound device open. That shouldn't happen (i.e. it should fail gracefully and let me choose a different device, or free up the device and select it).

Actually, no, I had a hidden popup that was just trying to do the usual "This will stop the audio engine".

What's changed:

• Further refined startup project dialog.
• Further refined Virtual MIDI Keyboard:
  • More compact layout
  • MIDI keys are reflected on the piano keyboard
• When editing tempo changes, now absolute tempo values are used for editing.
  Note that the underlying tempo value still is relative to the parent module's tempo / project tempo / host tempo. You can also input relative tempo values by appending a '%' character.
• As soon as a composition had tempo changes, the Tempo Slider did not work well anymore. Fixed.

  • Focus Previous Scene
  • Focus Next Scene
  • Start/Stop Focused Scene
  Using these commands you have more options for live performances.

Another really tiny graphical glitch. If I use the "[-]" minimize button, it highlights when I click it then Windows minimizes the application. When Windows restores the application, the button is still highlighted. Hovering or clicking in most parts of the window don't change this. If I click the button whilst it's highlighted and drag and release, that fixes it.
