Hi Squids, I already got my AES pass in the mail so I'll be there for sure. I'm looking very forward to this!
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

Not yet but I plan to.
Be sure to run the same guitar.wav file through both amps dry with no other instrumetns in the mix.

electro, I think he knows how to make a decent A/B now, don't you think? ;)

I hear demos all the time drenched in reverb and covered up by other instruments. We need raw demos, no ambience that run the same wav files through both the sim and the real amp. Multiple sampling rates and .wav for us to download.

Guitar Rig is 1 million times better than both. And NI have just announced a new version - "Guitar Rig 2"

I don't like Guitar Rig.
I don't know why but it sounds bad to my ears.
It feels like playing a synth, not a guitar set up.
Anyway I hope we will see a demo for both, soon.
But if GR2 will sound similar to GR1 it's a no go for me.

Bollocks. I am not knocking Guitar Rig. I like all NI products for various things. It's certainly not bad. But, it is definitely not better than AT2. Of course that is opinion but I know a lot of guitar players who would agree with me on that.
