You probably want the user library archive, converted for A6, here: https://community.native-instruments.co ... -absynth-6
Thanks

These are possibly the best Absynth patches I’ve ever heard — for that matter, patches for any synth ever. I spend so much time playing with the macros, and I haven’t even started poking around under the hood. They’re all beautiful, evocative, and different.

I listened and sounded good to me.
Are there any better presets available?
Thanks for sharing. Here's a video where I explore the sounds.

High praise indeed - well worth it!

I just purchased the latest version of Absynth 6.0.3 I had been playing around with the demo for awhile and liked it. I started playing with it and went to export a preset and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to edit the existing Author / Bank Name / Company and add my own. I then tried making a patch from scratch, filling out my custom Preset Name / Author / Bank Name and the only thing that shows up is the Preset Name. Has anyone else experienced this?

Has a komplete release come out that includes Absynth 6? Haven't been paying close attention. I'd just as soon get whatever random crap NI throws into KU while I'm giving them my dollars. I do wanna play some mpe with Absynth though.

No, Absynth 6 was released after the Komplete 15 series.

Kinda figured. I miss plenty of stuff these days though so I figured I'd axe.

What's going on with NI? Are they safe and sound?

There is a way to move the factory samples folder to an external SSD? In the settings windows we can define up to 3 folder paths for the user samples, but I cannot see the option to define the path for the factory samples folder in case we want to move it

Thanks!

Should go something like this:

"Moving the Absynth 6 factory samples to an external SSD is best accomplished by moving the files and then using Native Access to relocate them, ensuring the software knows their new location.

Step 1: Move the Sample Folder

Close your DAW and any open Native Instruments applications.
Locate the Absynth 6 factory content folder on your internal drive. It is typically found at:

macOS: Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/
Windows: C:\Users\Public\Documents\

Copy/Move the entire folder to your external SSD.
Delete the original folder from your internal drive only after the transfer is complete.

Step 2: Relocate in Native Access

Open Native Access.
Click the Refresh icon in the upper right corner to scan for changes.
Absynth 6 will be marked with a yellow REPAIR label.
Click REPAIR and select RELOCATE from the drop-down menu.
In the Relocate window, click BROWSE and navigate to the new location of the folder on your external SSD.
Select the folder and click RELOCATE."

Absynth just got updated:

6.1.0 adds new tools and workflow improvements including Undo/Redo, Audio Modulator, LFO Retrigger, Auto Trigger, metadata editing for preset properties, and improved Save/Save As behavior. This update also adds 32 new instrument presets and 100 new samples. Please note, presets saved in Absynth 6.1 will not open in Absynth 6.0.

ADDED

32 new instrument presets
100 new samples
Undo/Redo
Audio Modulator
LFO Retrigger
Auto Trigger
Metadata editing for Properties in the List Browser
Standalone now supports up to 8 audio output channels
Default Author option for Save As
Waveform renaming in the wave preset list

IMPROVED

Save/Save As functionality, including visual indication of preset modification

FIXED

FL Studio FX plug-in could block audio
Master Pan macro control did not work correctly
Tuning menu unusable when scaling at high levels
Some labels truncated at 85% view size

KNOWN ISSUE

Preset Name metadata editing is not possible
Metadata property modifications require saving and rescanning before they are stored and displayed
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post

Thanks for the heads up!
