and 95% of Zebra 2 users still haven't used it to potential.

With pretty much everything I'm doing, I make sure it leverages into Z3 development. Example: The polynomial interpolation function that I'm currently developing to speed up Repro's filter calculation will find good use in Zebra3's vastly improved MSEG/Osc curves. Unfortunately the list of these things is nearly endless.

Not sure yet. Zebra2 doesn't need it, so Zebra3 probably won't need it either.aesthete wrote:I'm old (50), please remind us if Z3 will have multicore support ?
Multicore support is incredibly difficult to do when there are ModMatrices that can modulate any parameter on a per-voice basis. This is why Diva, ACE and Bazille don't have ModMatrices and why in turn Zebra and Hive don't have Multicore support.

We'll probably see a quantum computer in every home before then.omiroad wrote:Which will see a release sooner, Berlin Modular or Zebra 3?

For Berlin Modular we need to invent our own programming language. That's scheduled for "after the drum machine(s)". I suppose Z3 will be first.omiroad wrote:Which will see a release sooner, Berlin Modular or Zebra 3?

I fixed that for you.

these infos are always appreciated by a profane on the coding domain like me, to say it again, this is at least you or Sean (Costello) or xoxos among others in their own area are highly appreciated...and gives an additional and non-commercial interest in reading kvr's forumsUrs wrote:For Berlin Modular we need to invent our own programming language. For complex patches probably it will sucks if it won't have multicore.Urs wrote:Not sure yet. Zebra2 doesn't need it, so Zebra3 probably won't need it either.aesthete wrote:I'm old (50), please remind us if Z3 will have multicore support ?

I just don't understand ho w you can make Zebra 3 be super high end and be able to run it on 1 core with complex patches.
But maybe i am wrong. I will see.

You are usually wrong about a lot of stuff, anyways.
