Thanks for answering. The custom programming language makes me think that anyone will be able to write modules for it. Maybe not that practical but it's an interesting future possibility I think.Urs wrote:For Berlin Modular we need to invent our own programming language. That's scheduled for "after the drum machine(s)". I suppose Z3 will be first.omiroad wrote:Which will see a release sooner, Berlin Modular or Zebra 3?

Doesnt that mean that Hive is not "fully" cpu efficient?Urs wrote:and why in turn Zebra and Hive don't have Multicore support.

It's as CPU efficient as it can get for its architecture, that's what it means.

What do you mean? We're in the Matrix now.Cinebient wrote:And mankind left the planet....masterhiggins wrote:We'll probably see a quantum computer in every home before then.omiroad wrote:Which will see a release sooner, Berlin Modular or Zebra 3?

+1 on multi-octave pitch-bend. Several 80's songs my band covers require this...one of the best known is Safety Dance's outro with a 4 octave pitch bend, but Talking Heads and others do this as well.

Learn to use the mod matrix perhaps??
you can set up as much pitch bend modulation as you want there!
Make the Source Pitch wheel and set the destination -> Osc tune.
You can set up to 48 semi's in either direction of modulation. Then you can also make two entries in the mod matrix if you want more...

Why is there a 24 semi limit when if it could go much further?

But i can't set the pitch wheel to 48 up and 72 semi down f.e.
Sure there are workarounds but it just could be easy to set this in a second....or so
Edit: But i really appreciate that Zebra is one of the few synths which let me assign nearly all to 14 bit midi.
In general if i miss something in other synths....Zebra can do mostly.....Of course there are a few things i would like to have on top of it.

I just want new skin for zebra 2
when it will arrive?
Please dont mention Massive Modular skin, i have it but i dont use, its way too complicated for fast tasks. Zebra original all the way, definatly best and easiest UI, just those low resolution textures look so bad when synth is scaled by 30 percent
