resize window to 1024x1024
paste image (v)
save image in popup menu (tiff only option)
convert tiff to png
http://www.online-convert.com/result/13 ... ea5d9b1baa
ms has awesome musical image creation tools as well
start in 1024x1024 window so you will not lose image resolution

The filter library expansion crashes Filter Forge 4. Bummer. Sent a support request with the debug log. Had to reinstall while I wait for a reply.

I don't know why you need the filter expansion lib because you can download any filter for free (1 at a time though)rustman wrote:The filter library expansion crashes Filter Forge 4. Bummer. Sent a support request with the debug log. Had to reinstall while I wait for a reply.

I wanted to be able to browse and use them without going online. Plus, it's probably easier to browse them in the program. It would have been worth $29 if it had worked. I'll wait and see. Just crashed again, so now I have to uninstall it all and start over again.jackmazzotti wrote:I don't know why you need the filter expansion lib because you can download any filter for free (1 at a time though)rustman wrote:The filter library expansion crashes Filter Forge 4. You don't need it, the browser can download whole categories of filters at once if you run it in legacy mode.jackmazzotti wrote:I don't know why you need the filter expansion lib because you can download any filter for free (1 at a time though)rustman wrote:The filter library expansion crashes Filter Forge 4. I saw your mention of the legacy cheat. Once I get it reinstalled, I'm going to go snag a bunch via that method. Thanks for mentioning it btw...and thanks for all the presets too.aMUSEd wrote:You don't need it, the browser can download whole categories of filters at once if you run it in legacy mode.jackmazzotti wrote:I don't know why you need the filter expansion lib because you can download any filter for free (1 at a time though)rustman wrote:The filter library expansion crashes Filter Forge 4. Yes just go into options and select "Use the built-in library browser" it says it's 'obsolete' but I hope they don't remove this option as using the web interface is stupid, it only lets you download one filter at a time and is much slower, crazy when there are so many thousands. The built in browser lets you multi select filters to add to the download queue, as many as you want.

That method is working like a charm. Slow, but I'll only have to do it once. 600+ organic filters downloading as I type.aMUSEd wrote:Yes just go into options and select "Use the built-in library browser" it says it's 'obsolete' but I hope they don't remove this option as using the web interface is stupid, it only lets you download one filter at a time and is much slower, crazy when there are so many thousands. More perforation experiments - I simply love the way you can awkward melodies on top of the incoming audio which timbre-wise totally relate to the original source, in this case a very simple repeating acoustic guitar riff:

Some KaleidoBeats processing one of my Tremor Kits, changing the patterns in the step sequencer on the fly with keyswitches, added some saturation/compression/multiband limiting post KS:

This is an interesting and instructive example, when you say awkward melodies, I suppose you men "generate".
Love the graphic material
waves break, but somehow it all makes sense.

Verbs don't come easy sometimes, indeed. If you're looking for execellent verbs, I can really recommend Aether and B2...Sampleconstruct wrote:Thanks for fixing my post, Wade. Verbs don't come easy sometimes:)
