I am waiting for some proper gear from Plugin Alliance to go on sale, like Sandman

bx_boom = Stripped down to only 2 parameters and an intuitive graphic design

To me, to pay $9 just for that is too much :(

Post

2 parameters means is very easy to use. And it's awesome on kicks and basses. Worth the asking price.

bx-boom is a real time saver well worth $9.

Could not agree more, very handy time saver with excellent fast results and i'm sure the $9.00 is not pure profit... they have overhead and the cost of the transaction to pay as well, I cannot see it going any lower, I would grab it now even if you remotely think you might use it.

iLok dongle-only aren't they?
They are, yes. Though I have loads of other iLok plugins (and a brand spankin' new iLok3 to load them on), so it isn't a deal breaker for me at all.

As for how many authorizations, I don't know about the Lexicon stuff. But I do know that some vendors give you multiple authorizations, and not just those who use the software licensing. Some devs like UVI and Eventide give you more than one and I believe that includes multiple hardware iLok licenses if you wish (though I've never done it, I know that I have a license on my iLok and it shows more activations remaining). And of course some devs do that with the Steinberg eLicensor as well, such as VSL on some products.

I'm actually curious what you think of the PCM Native Effects.
I haven't tried them since they aren't the types of effects I generally use, but I wouldn't mind checking them out at some point just to see. I imagine they would be quality, but how much of that would be placebo effect with the Lexicon name on it? Hard to say.

And for some reason, the bundle of them costs more than all of the individual packs combined.

Apocalypse Elements for $35 instead of $99? Helluva deal. I use them all the time.

So I'm trying out the Lexicon PCM Native reverbs, and though most of the interface is fine, the font size and style in every drop down box (which there are a lot of) is far too tiny to read. I've tried in two different hosts.

Anyone had this problem? There doesn't seem to be a settings page of any sort. It doesn't look like this in their videos. I have no doubt that I have whatever font they need. Very annoying and makes customizing the plugins and choosing presets virtually impossible.

I don't have any problem with the text in Lexicon PCM (in Reaper 5 on Windows). What I do have is a problem with some of the plugins randomly failing to authorise when I load a project. It also seems to cause other iLok plugins to fail to authorise as well if they're in the same project.

It's a shame, as they're beautiful reverbs.
