well, here's a bonus undocumented feature: you can alt-drag a LFO mod-source tile to the waveform area, and it renders the LFO shape as a waveform.Ideally it would be great if as well as totally free drawing there was a bezier curve type for when you need more precision.

sorry, forgot this is in OSX only. I'll add it to Windows now that I've mentioned it

I'm on OSX and still cannot figure out what you mean. Could you give a more concrete example of doing this?

It would be really sweet if you could do the opposite, alt-drag from the waveform area to the LFO mod-source to render the waveform as the LFO shape
