Yes, that is normal.rugrande wrote:I bought this morning AIEP 3 upgrade on JRR shop, but I wasn't asked to introduce any serial to prove that I am eligible for the upgrade. I received an e-mail that says that the license needs to be manually generated more than 3 hours ago but nothing else. Is it normal? I bought Studio One 3 on monday and I received my serial immediately, but I assume that it was automatically generated.

More than usable - Amplitube probably better for the distorted end of things, but Guitar Rig in daily use here for ambient and effecty stuff, where I find it far superior to Amplitube.version782 wrote:Is guitar rig 5 usable? All the demos I've watched sound pretty bad to me

Your in good hands, Uncle E who runs JRR is on this forum frequently, just look through this thread and you will see "Uncle E" and then just send him a friendly PM, he is one of the nicest and professional re-sellers out there.rugrande wrote:I bought this morning AIEP 3 upgrade on JRR shop, but I wasn't asked to introduce any serial to prove that I am eligible for the upgrade. LoL, I know what you mean, I could have purchased a car for what I spent last night and today and cyber-monday has not even started yet, including the rest of the holiday sales and I still have items on my list, but I have been waiting for almost a year for this sale season to get here, resisting sales all that time, now it has paid off.systmu wrote:Dang I'm tapped out and still want more. Any Reputable Kvr want to gift me $85 for a $100 amazon gc so I can get some more goodies? lol Send a PM!

This is my first audio black Friday sale so I wasn't sure to expect. I knew it'd be good but I had no idea. I should of set aside more money to be honest. I got the big one though. Soundtoys. So many great deals. Honestly since I found this site I spend more time looking at deals, comparing plugins, watch videos about them than making music lol.OB-XKeys wrote: LoL, I know what you mean, I could have purchased a car for what I spent last night and today and cyber-monday has not even started yet, including the rest of the holiday sales and I still have items on my list, but I have been waiting for almost a year for this sale season to get here, resisting sales all that time, now it has paid off.
Oh yeah I do appreciate Arturia having an extending sale through January 10th or whatever. I think more developers should do that instead of making everyone buy everything in a 4 day span.

Last year was my first Audio Black Friday and I planned for it too, but last year was all about hardware, knowing this year would be all about software. It has paid off very nice being patient and educating myself like you said by browsing forums, mostly KVR and gearslutz.OB-XKeys wrote: LoL, I know what you mean, I could have purchased a car for what I spent last night and today and cyber-monday has not even started yet, including the rest of the holiday sales and I still have items on my list, but I have been waiting for almost a year for this sale season to get here, resisting sales all that time, now it has paid off.

I agree, see what happens is something big goes on sale, you see it, YOU WANT IT, but you did not know it was coming so you did not save for it, and by the time you have the cash the sale is over... when they extend the sale like Arturia did, as you mentioned, folks have the time to get the cash with the sale end date looking like a carrot you have to catch.systmu wrote:Oh yeah I do appreciate Arturia having an extending sale through January 10th or whatever. And another great thing about the software audio marketplace is a lot of the developers are easy to contact and will talk with you one on one and are usually more than willing to work with you on pricing, I have gotten some really good deals that way and I return the favor(s) by bringing them new customers (i.e. most of my friends are musicians of some sort)

I thought about this, but I wasn't sure 2 products would do much based on the statements made here. Thought I better grab while I could.Ichad.c wrote:Get their free Tremolo Plug first, register it, and then you might get a better price on their site. The cool thing about Soundtoys is that free actually means free, no weird 'but'. I already got everything last year, well worth it. EchoBoy, MicroShift and the two Radiators get the most use here, fyi - the two Radiators actually sound different, Little Radiator is not a 'cut-down' version. The other little ones are. The rack is cool too.dzilizzi wrote:Thanks! Based on the prices of the individual plugins, it is so hard to pass up.syclick wrote:I own Echoboy and tried the demo of the full bundle. Decapitator, MicroShift and PhaseMistress alone are worth me getting the full bundle.dzilizzi wrote:Just noticed that PluginDiscounts has the Soundtoys set for $222. I only have the free SieQ. That's a great deal for 18 plugs.
This was not on my list. Sigh. I just ordered (but haven't yet received) Eventide Anthology. I hear all these good things about Echoboy, but what about the others? Don't really have time to download demos. (Visiting family)
Thanks.
So after a crazy morning of trying to remember what I own already and what site has a better deal, I think I'm down to the Celestia left. Doesn't seem like anyone has a better price than Impact Soundworks.

I just want to say Mesa Winds from Orange Tree Samples is my favorite ethnic wind VI. And I have *a lot* of ethnic wind VIs. Currently 35% off plus any Orange Slices you may have.
