I'm sure it'll be great for that too. Just thinking that the majority of soundsets will be for these genres (as with many other synths too). But, if you have something like Falcon, i'm not sure how much overlap there will be, or whether Falcon already does everything you need or not. Seems to be quite a complete synth.Kalamata Kid wrote:Avenger looks fantastic but I really wanted to know what of mine might it replace. chk071 you answered my question and I appreciate it. I may still get even though I do ambient but now I will wait for the reviews.chk071 wrote:I'd rather say Avenger is the Sylenth1 + Massive + Nexus killer.Kalamata Kid wrote:I have not followed the Avenger discussion much.
So then Avenger is the Absynth and Falcon killer?Rather looks like a all-in-one solution with a good factory preset bank, and loads of addon sound packs to come. The approach is surely great, and, if i had to do a verdict, i'd say it will become the most used synth in EDM production. Of course, it'll be good for other musical genres too, but it'll surely be tailored, sound wise, for use in dance music genres.

I noticed that no one else has Maxxbass on sale because it's not part of Waves' Black Friday thing, but here it is for $32.76...

Opinions? I'm demo'ing it but I'm undecided. Just a smidge sounds cool but can be easily overcooked. They say that it's suitable on the master bus even, instead of using an EQ to beef up the low end.
It's in Gold, along with Vitmain, so there's always that to consider...

Thanks to the people who mentioned Loops De La Creme. I had been looking for cymbal swells and decent hand claps for a while.

I have always wanted Diva, but this sale isn't exactly what I hoped for. After 5 years, it would be cool to do a 50% sale or something like that..especially since the sale is only for a limited time.
Or...should I just give up and buy it?

I saw your message before you deleted, but didn't reply (am cooking). EchoBoy is a great delay - would recommend - but you really need a reverb as well. The effects are related but different - with delay, the echoes are often audibly distinct from each other (especially at longer delay times), whereas with reverb the echoes are generally smushed together so that you get the perception that the sound exists within a particular space (such as a room, hall, etc) but don't distinctly hear the sound repeating back.Keppada wrote:-Deleted-

Thanks for this - have bought it. I already have and like RenBass, which uses the same technology but hides a lot of the parameters, so this is going to be good.MogwaiBoy wrote:I noticed that no one else has Maxxbass on sale because it's not part of Waves' Black Friday thing, but here it is for $32.76...
