Yes, there's a good chance for that.CinningBao wrote:This is one beautiful machine.
any chance of Z2 having audio inserts? I'd love to use the reverb on 'live' sounds!

Still going at it with this crazy thing
I'm feeling very brave this morning (it's presently 4:35 AM), and decided to make a controller map for my BCR2000. For editing the effects if OSC's, I've noticed parameters for;
FX Value
FX Mod source
FX Mod Depth
I haven't, however, been able to find a parameter for selecting the FX type. Am I overlooking something, or is it simply not there?
Big thanks!

It's possibly not being published to te outside, but you should be able to MidiLearn it by right-clicking.Foxglove wrote:Still going at it with this crazy thing

Anyway the whole stuff (MidiLearn, CC stuff in general, public parameter list) needs an overhaul. Well, it's jsut a preview, innit?

If you have energy XT, you can use it's random preset generator. It works but only with the available parameters.

2) Any plans to implement a randomizing function?

Be careful though... some *published* parameters can't be reached over the normal GUI yet. This might lead to very unpredictable results and such that don't let you investigate what's happening (or not) from the GUI - but it can also be fun, for sureparadiddle wrote:If you have energy XT, you can use it's random preset generator. Another minor request - I don't know how you'd implement this in the gui (maybe in the "more" oscillator pages?) but it would be nice to switch certain oscillators to mono, rather than just have a global mono/poly switch.
The reason for this is let's say I'm doing a pad sound using a couple of oscillators for the body of the sound. I then add another oscillator to do some echoey filtery stuff up at the top end for flavour, but this I want to be monophonic, so it doesn't become overwhelming when playing chords.
Some compressor modules in the FX and the grid would be spiffy too!
And maybe a global FX bypass switch somwhere too?
Really enjoying the preview version...

Hehe, a lot of poly/single/mono trigger stuff is in the works. We'll see if it reaches the oscillators as well...beej wrote:Another minor request - I don't know how you'd implement this in the gui (maybe in the "more" oscillator pages?) but it would be nice to switch certain oscillators to mono, rather than just have a global mono/poly switch.

Compressor is planned, too. I just need to be able to go back to work instead of writing emails all day long

No prob. Email volume has gone down a bit. I've already set up a collaborative thing for the manual. Hope the co-authors get used to it quickly
I've also written some lines of code today. Looks promising for a concentrated action within the next few weeks. I'll provide you with yet another preview before this one expires, because there's no chance anymore to make it all before January...
Honestly, I havn't expected that much feedback. But it feels pretty good

I tried it a few times using just a bit of random and I didn't get any crash and got interesting results. I always turn the volume down just in case.
thanks for the warning though!
