I agree with an earlier post about including the Farfisa. I haven't encountered any sampler or vst's that have really captured the essence of this sound. I think the addition of the Farfisa would sway those interested in vintage plugs to purchase EVE.
I would also like to see the Vox Continental and a Hohner Pianet (I'm a Zombies fan) included as well.

NEW BETA UPDATE 10
Hy guys, thanxs again for so many information and tests. Ford, I got your sample files and we are handling it. Thank you.
For this Beta 10 we added more Tool-Tips and extra CPU optimization. But keep in mind that if you use all 3 slots you will get 3 Envelopes + 3 Oscilators with Interpolation. So is like 3 samplers in action at the same time.
We also added 2 options on the Global-Menu, so you can turn off Animations And/Or Tool-Tips.
Best Regards, WilliamK

ah sorry to have been gone... my pc totally is destroyed... mobo and cpu gone... so had to get new mobo and cpu and can't use my ghost bakups on it... so having to re-install 5 years of stuff from zero... it will take months to get it all back up, but I have the basic audo stuff running again now...[what a mess!]... the good news for me is that this one runs better, faster and cleaner and things that were prob's caused by old VIA chipset issues are gone! [say that in a whisper
]
anyway... back to testing asap... off to get the new beta now
pray for me...hahahahaha

NEW BETA UPDATE 11 (MORE SAMPLES TOO!)
Here is the latest beta-version 11.
Sorry is a BIG file, but we are now close to the final sample selection. At least for the LITE (Downloable) version.
The beta-11 has several fixes specialy for using the LP filter and other options.
Also, since we renamed the samples, if you update the samples with the installer, old songs won't find the "old" files.
Please, let us know how this beta-11 goes.
I will be working on presets and Luigi will work on the images that will go on the blank space above the SoundSet name.
Best Regards, WilliamK

Back again!
Why does the volume meter only track pre-effects? If I turn on the phaser, it's obviously louder, but the volume meter doesn't reflect this.
Also, do you have plans of cleaning up the way it looks at the top for the titles of the instruments? Having it chopped off on the long names is annoying, and doesn't look very nice.
I'll keep digging.

volume meter is per section, A B or C,
while effects output directly on the stereo out,
and take input from all 3 A B and C,
so the 3 meters can only show the dry levels,
what we could add are two extra stereo VU meters,
one for Modulator and one for Echo, if they are really needed.
Note though that volume slider acts as master on FX send knobs, so that reducing volume also reduce proportionally the send amount to Modulator and to Echo.
This way just one slider "volume" controls all output
for each section, even though on many real mixers
the send is indipendent from volume,(so that signal still goes to effect by send, when the volume slider is all down)
please let us know if you like the current design,
for the name display we'll work to make it look nicest as possible

In my opinion then, you really should include a master fader with master level indicator. That way I can control within the vst the level coming out, instead of having to go digging for the master fader, or the fader for that channel within my host, and also be able to see if I'm clipping. To me, I can obviously hear that I'm clipping, but the meter is showing green. I'm just for making VST's as idiot proof as possible.

On b12...I did a fresh install to be sure...PE 2000 sounds odd in the higher registers/5 area...Vintage strings has it a little in the 5 area too especially if you just hold down an F5...I get a pause of silence from her when FL Studio loops a sustained not...CX still suffers the worst and Vox Continental C has the undernoise from C5 up....Everything else is sounding great
... Sorry to be such a nag, but this is what I hear...

SOON A NEW BETA WITH MORE OPTIMIZATIONS!
This is uge. We are working on a totally new code that WILL drop CPU usage 50% or more. So far 48 notes (no LP filter) uses 54% of my computer, after 2 updates it droped to 30% without sound problems. And we still have a lot of opts to do, and I think we can reach 14/20% (hopefully) But is a long change, since everything will change on the code.
But it will be good, since the other DASH products will also get affected by that.
So please be patient, the new BETA should come soon.
Also, while using the LP filter, the CPU usage was way high, we allready fixed that.
We will also work with Klaus on fixing all the samples problems.

I just wonder if it's the samples or something else that's happening since it's mostly around the 5 zone...?WilliamK wrote:We will also work with Klaus on fixing all the samples problems.
Looking forward to being able to fit even more instances of Dash stuff into songs...WilliamK wrote:...And we still have a lot of opts to do, and I think we can reach 14/20% (hopefully) But is a long change, since everything will change on the code. But it will be good, since the other DASH products will also get affected by that.

Now that you mentioned, you mean C5 and up? That's insane!
Who would really use so upper pitch anyway?
If you mean C5 and up what you hear is part aliasing, since you have to remember that those are just samples, not synthesis. Our code has antialiasing code, but not for too high freqs. That's why we made some areas of the mini-keyboard shadowed.

C5 is just the next C up from middle on my alpha Juno2...I don't consider that high...it's the normal play area for me...unless this is only made for bass...am I using the wrong name calling it C5? That's what it shows as in FL Studio...
