I actualy didn't try since it says:

64-Bit Mac AU (fixed missing Carbon View, several bugfixes)

ACE: http://www.u-he.com/ACEMacAU64.zip
Uhbik & Zebra: http://www.u-he.com/UhbikZebraAU64.zip
Bazille 03: http://www.u-he.com/BazilleMacAU64.zip

Uh... you're right... You could however extract the executable from the package and move it to your Zebra2.vst package. Make sure you also copy the CarbonUI package in the resources... bit of a stunt but should work...

örm, actually its not too urgent, i think i'll wait until you got the time to make a proper install.

Don't hurry, i got plenty of work to be done..got no real time for making music these days sadly.

cheers

Is the 32 bit updated too?

Yep, it's in there. No big news though, just 2 more OscFX in Zebra

The June 64-bit version of Zebra works fine for me in Cubase 5.5.. but updating to the latest version does not work. The installer places stuff in the 32-bit Program Files by default, and then upon launch Cubase finds the 32-bit version and tries to use Cubase's built-in bridging to make it work inside my 64-bit client, and crashes on launch.

Is this something that will be fixed, or am I missing something?

Okay so I see two problems...

1. 64-bit and 32-bit files are both placed in by default, so 64-bit Cubase finds the 32-bit versions first and runs them through a bridge, instead of using the 64-bit native versions.

2. It looks like the cause of the crash on Cubase startup is that Win7 UAC prevents Zebralette from creating some com.u-he.zebralette.UIprefs.txt file in "Program Files" (default path) when loading up, and that causes it to crash. As someone else said, if you right click >> run as administrator it lets Cubase start up okay, and you can go into "Plug-in Information" and click update to get Zebralette to be detected. This happens because the Program files and Program Files (x86) directories are specially protected in Windows 7 by UAC. My previous installation was in C:\U-He and had no such issues. I think for now I'll do the same thing.

Urs can you please fix this so it's all solid? I'd be happy to help test this.
