Hello BeerHunger,

It has something to do with the directory name of bitwig 1.1.8RC1-1

Code: Select all

mv: cannot stat '/builddir/build/BUILDROOT/bitwig-studio-1.1.8RC1-1.fc21.x86_64/usr/bin': No such file or directory
I'll try to build it myself and see what's up. I'll get back to you in a little while.

Hey, BeerHunger,

It is not your problem. Believe it or not, the problem is with the name (and contents) of the deb file. The thing is that Fedora doesn't accept RC-1 as release version.

This makes it impossible to with the current method. Maybe we can ask Bitwig to use the following naming scheme: bitwig-studio-rc1-1.1.8 instead of bitwig-studio-1.1.8rc-1?

In the mean time, you can:

Code: Select all

# go to SOURCES
cd ~/rpmbuild/SOURCES

# download the .deb file manually
curl -O http://downloads.bitwig.com/bitwig-studio-1.1.8-RC-1.deb

# rename it
mv bitwig-studio-1.1.8-RC-1.deb bitwig-studio-1.1.8rc1.deb

# get the new spec
cd ~/rpmbuild/SPECS
curl -O http://downloads.woralelandia.com/fedora/20/bitwig-studio/bitwig-studio.spec
After that, just build it and it will build... fingers crossed... :D
