I'd happily volunteer to mod this 'forum', for these kinds of 'non-technical' {albeit emotionally charged} kinds of things. PM me if interested.
In the interim, both parties concur that things got out of hand, and can simply "edit" (read that: "delete the content") of your posts that are obviously {though not meant to invalidate} "personal" issues, and not in the best interest of this topic, nor forum... simple really.
carry on.

Taron, there is no such thing as "my thread" here. All threads are "ours".Taron wrote:You imposed your destructive opinion in my thread...
From what i read from Zexila, i don't have the impression he means bad things. Can you pls quote the very first "bad thing" he said that caused this discussion?Taron wrote:...without any purpose other than to profile yourself (badly) and no thought or shame about what it might do to me, Jo or anyone. I sure hope that you'll grow out of this ignorance and switch back to the Jackal you've managed to briefly be last night. Beyond that I'll be happy to know you prefer a different forum until somehow you get your light back on.

Seems like you guys are more equal as you might thinkZexila wrote:Jo, please ban me, remove all my all post's
Hey, seriously, pls sort this out and get back on mu track. You can both delete your own posts if you want, at least by editing them and removing the text and put "(deleted)". So pls moderate yourself! (lit & fig)
My feedback to you both, just from my personal pov: Taron pls chill a bit if people are not exactly on the same line as you. Everyone is different. Zexila, pls accept Taron's intense personality and as he wrote himself "it's here and there rocky to get a sense on how to deal with artists like me... explosive bunch!". You're both good guys and just need to get to know eachother a bit better. Maybe you can even do nice things together.
Now if you still need to continue the personal discussion between you both pls exchange emails and do it from man to man, not on this forum. If there are different opinions on something, tell eachother why you think/feel something, give arguments, sort it out. Go drink a (virtual) beer together

Well as you both asked me to do so i now did so, removed a bunch of shouting posts. Hey pls try to avoid such things i have other things to do.Taron wrote:But I would've really removed the nonsense
It's not about the "thread" or "topic" word, it's about the "my" word. This forum is public and all threads/topics are ours = shared.stuffing up my topic (how about that?)
Ok, i hope i can further focus on improving+extending MuLab & MUX now.

Thanks for your proposal. Don't know you yet good enough, but that may come. Thx.Shabdahbriah wrote:I'd happily volunteer to mod this 'forum', for these kinds of 'non-technical' {albeit emotionally charged} kinds of things. PM me if interested.

If you ever need help in moderating, I don't mind! (funny moment for that suggestion, hm?!)
(wahaha, squeezed in that one, while I was writing, haha...ouch...but you know that I would take off your posts up there, too, since they've fortunately lost context!)
Can't wait to see what you'll do to the front panels!

I almost forgot to post this, but I just doodled around and remembered that I never did...
TeaVerb v1.0
My MUX version of freeverb has by now deviated so much from its origin that I think it might be confusing to keep the name, while I still want to thank Jezar for the coefficients and fundamental concept.
I've added a filter to it, which you can change to any type you wish, but by default it's set to "Peak" and lowers the mid EQ range around 400Hz. That opens up the space and keeps it from drowning most sources.
There's still everything else from my former versions, including modulation, density, independent stereo pre delays and stereo width.

It is very nice with the Mux Presets>Instruments>Keys>Stand-In Piano! The filters give it a distinctive character-- its nice to flick through them to hear how the sound opens up in different places.

Uh, thanks! Yeah, I've just done a doodle with my EPlex (epiano) and Harmute (flute), just hooking the TeaVerb to the master for simplicity reasons and you can get a very clean ambient even by default, but it's also interesting to go for negative feedback for a slightly different impression.
But, yeah, you really would want to find out what frequencies you'd want to keep clear in your track. Thus, flicking through them is a fun way of finding out what range works best.
I'm so looking forward to the new front panel stuff Jo is working on. I might add a few more filters so you can do more complex EQing right away, too. I just didn't want to crowd the front just yet.
Much like the MuVerb, having filter and modulation on it can turn into a more prominent effect, too, of course.
Again, thanks for testing it out! I hope it'll be useful to you, too!
