Lack of documentation is my main gripe, although this forum, videos and mouseover help go a long way. As for that book, I paid the absolute minimum without feeling guilty about it. Was it $12? Later I have tried to look up a couple of things and found that they're not mentioned, so I feel even less guilty.

To be fair, the books are a private endeavour of mr. Edstrom. He himself said it was not meant as a full on manual.

It's also not related to TSC (although they endorse it)

And indeed the forum is very helpful ...

Edit: just noticed that, again, several topics in the Tracktion forum (concerning the color-scheme of the GUI) were DELETED !!!

I think that's BAD practice!

If there was an official manual, the prices would not be $60 and $30. Other companies charge for their user manuals, just indirectly.

love the website here. Mouswheel works perfectly. reason title page doesn't scroll is that there is nothing TO scroll. All info of each page fits on one page. Mouswheel works perfectly to scroll through the pages (the dots on the right), all product info is cleanly laid out, it's easy on the eye.. i can't agree with that one at all.

The page is AWFUL for people with accessibility issues. Not everyone can scroll easily, and page down/up are totally broken.

We could also consider how SLOW it is to scroll and wait for a new page to load..

That's certainly not the only issue though.

Seriously though, you get in a major huff over even more minor things. I think that you would be a little more sympathetic to such an issue.

No color schemes? Why?

This was explained in the comment immediately preceding yours. They want to work on more complex features of the software and having color schemes slows that down. Function before fashion. They obviously didn't consider that their one look would be such a bother to some users, I'm guessing because Tracktion now looks a lot more like their competition.

There are always complaints. You have to pick your battles. I'm somewhat optimistic that they're choosing to focus on new features, but that's just me. I understand that stimuli are different for different people.

I'm actually starting to like the website now , Trackion support fixed my issues with my download products missing in my account . Also the marketplace tab works within Trackion7 freaking genoius .

Initially when I realized I didn't have the ability to change the interface, I was disappointing. However, in the last 3 days ive had way more fun making music in Tracktion without the constant distraction of changing the look again and again. It doesn't hurt that the theme is already so easy on the eyes for me. Having used it pretty thoroughly for the last few days, I would actually go as far as to say Its probably my favorite overall DAW GUI in general now. Also, im on Windows 10 64-bit and at least for me, its been rock solid thus far performance wise.

I'm on a slow adsl connection (slower than what normal adsl seems to be) here in rural NSW, Australia. My son regularly complains about the speed available for gaming. The tracktion website is beautiful and working well, as long as I am patient enough to wait maybe 5 seconds.
I would have thought that I was on one of the slower connections in the world. Is that correct or not? I use windows 10 and chrome.
As far as DAWs go, I use Bitwig but use T6 to compile albums. I'm about to slap down my measly AUD$42 to buy T7.
Hmm, wodka and cranberry juice are a good combo. Bit of ice, some vasser and I'm in heaven in rural Oz.
