Class act, Markus! I've been a long-time Tone2 customer and have always appreciated your willingness to listen to customers and, the few times I needed support, got it quickly and smoothly. So, I personally don't feel I need an apology, but it's way cool of you to do so.

But, now it's past my lunchtime and I'm craving a big mcsteak... dammit!

Maybe we could get that other guy (the one who developed that "Ess One" synth), to read this and learn something from it. ;)

Because, as a paying customer I utterly detest complicated licensing schemes.

I was angry after being accused of being a thief back in the day, so I sold my legitimate Tone2 License. Years later, I purchased the product again because it's so effing good. Don't give up Markus. :tu:

Since this year the copy protection is a keyfile only or has been completely removed to make sure that older products continue to work for a long time in the future.
I listen to the customers a lot and take feedback seriously. I regularly release big and free updates which can be downloaded here:

We all are.

Apparently, he became aware of that recently (it is commendable, actually). :)

OTOH, I don't some people ever will .... like that other guy I mentioned earlier). :D

Who is that guy? Sylenth1 developer?

Anyway, personally, I don't have any problem with any developer unless it's about selling their licenses :hihi: But some actually don't change their support even when that happens :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

So in summary, I guess we've changed our tone 2.

*The coat's already on*
I’ve reached the level of quarantine madness where this pun made me actually laugh :hihi:
The post above this is likely bait, viewer discretion is advised.

It was kinda implied that badmouthing other devs in this thread is a no-no, so I didn't mention anyone by their proper name.

Fair...but I mean “ess one” Kinda Gave it away.

It either means Sylenth1 or Studio One and the latter isint a VST...or a synth :-P

Your correct however, no badmouthing devs...I really am Curious now however because I’ve always had good experiences with Len.

Lennard is great.

Some folks find getting out of bed complex...

I had a few issues with Sylenth during Lennard's, erm, 'quiet period' and he gave me great help during an exchange of a few emails. Also, I find him non-hysterical, reserved, and publicity-shy compared to others' more in-ya-face style.

So let me say again in this celebration of positivity (remember, it was you that brought him up n this thread just to slag him off) Lennard is great.

Markus too :)

Oh ok! I rarely ask for support for any software unless it is not working properly or when I'm buying/selling the licenses so I don't have such back and forth with the developers. Anyway I have a license for Sylenth1 and I like that synth a lot, although I'm not using it as one of my goto synths! I don't have any contact/problem with the developer. With Markus I have very few and limited contact, but it is very positive :)
