Phaser-DDL is now available for macOS as VST and Audio Unit! 10.15 or higher, both Intel and M1.
Hi, I installed it on Mojave 10.14.6 and unfortunately it doesn't show up un my VST list in Cubase 10, 11 and 12.

A lot of people still use Mojave like me for compatibility purpose. Is there a way to make it work on slightly older macOS?

Thanks

Hi, unfortunately 10.15 is the minimum requirement. With our current muscle power it doesn't seem likely that we can provide compatibility with older versions.

Phaser-DDL is now released! So far we've got a 64-bit VST3 for Windows available, but later we'll be able to provide a VST3/AU for macOS as well.

Feel free to give any feedback!

Why so phased? :)
Is it possible to have sync to host tempo added? I know it's not accurate to the original unit, but it's the only thing holding me back from using it as I need it to always sound the same during playback.

I'm testing the demo. No way to save a preset?

We're working on that!

Not as of now, but never say never.

Is the default preset the "Key Funk Phaze" preset of the original unit?

It's somewhat close. The differing parameters in the Key Funk Phaze preset are:
LFO Rate 32 (28 in the plugin default preset)
Width 62 (81)
Center 16 (10)
Phaser Feedback 79 (80)
Delay Left Time 738 (707)
Delay Right Time 369 (372)
Delay Feedback 14 (20)

The Center value is actually -16 in the DP/4 but I have inverted the polarity of that parameter in the plugin to be more intuitive (higher value meaning higher frequency) so if you were to use the plugin's default setting in the original unit, the Center value would be -10.

Nice additions looking really nice, please implement presets!!

Here's a somewhat complex feature request that would push the plugin beyond the hardware.

Currently the feedback +- control heavily effects the pan of the sound below the frequency of the phasing. If it were possible to make it so that the level of the L and R signal were even below that point it would be amazing.

The old school method for dealing with this is to mult your sample and run a low passed version dry with the high passed version going through the DP4. But if there was an option to center the low end (I'm not talking about summing it to mono!) it would be amazing and open up some nice workflow flexibility that the hardware doesn't have.

This is true. Unfortunately I don't really see a way of achieving this apart from just adding some sort of filtering stage after the output. It's definitely an interesting quirk of the phaser topology.
