We have updated our products and will continue to do so. Features do get included or added based on user requests (see the MIDI mapping saved with Presets in Minimode? There ya' go). We monitor here, other forums, and throughout social media. The most effective way to get your feature requests in a single place and in front of the eyes of TPTB -- Devs, Support, Marketing -- is in our forums at or through a note to Support.

They added oversampling, and the randomise feature in 8-voice, and they've said they'll be adding the new favourite button thing to everything eventually.Rahodees wrote: Fri May 13, 2022 2:42 pm Does CA ever do major updates to their soft synths? As in adding features like, just pulling a random idea out of a hat, something like velocity?
There's a kids clothing company local to me (well, except I thought they'd closed down) called 'MiniMode', maybe they got a C&D.

Sounds good to me. I have a original Model D. I've had it for decades. I didn't AB them but generally speaking the Miniverse sounds good. But only with oversampling as high as you can go. There are some aspects that aren't exacly right but generally speaking it sounds like a minimoog.

I'm in no need for another one of those. Model 72, Diva, but:
My favorite one: Synapse Legend got me covered... or does it?
I mean: they're not the same same, but in the ballpark, aren't they?

They sure should be. The demo track sounds pretty good. It’s got 8 more voices than Legend.sQeetz wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 6:15 am I'm in no need for another one of those. Model 72, Diva, but:

I have almost all Cherry plugins but I'll pass on that one. Not because it's bad: I'm sure it's awesome.

I'm guessing Moog approached CA and said, "If you want to use our name and likeness, you have to pay up." This would, of course, cause CA to raise the Minimode from its current price of $39 to something like $89, a move they'd definitely loathe to make.

Neither Minimode nor Miniverse does contain any part of Moogs brands. And the idea that a brand name could make out a huge part of the final price is pretty absurd…

still it was moog; quote from Cherry Audio: "There were concerns expressed by Moog Music about the name and their trademarks, and we mutually came to an agreement on rebranding. No threats or animosity, just the right choice for everyone. This will not impact other products. We assure you, it’s all good!".Tj Shredder wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 7:45 am Neither Minimode nor Miniverse does contain any part of Moogs brands. Yet Arturia pays for using the original synth's names in their emulations.Tj Shredder wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 7:45 am Neither Minimode nor Miniverse does contain any part of Moogs brands. And the idea that a brand name could make out a huge part of the final price is pretty absurd…
