You can COPY a Layer to another Pad by holding ALT / OPTION + drag & drop layer number (button)... or MOVE from one Pad to another with drag & drop but without alt/option key

ok got it - right-click Menu on the Layer itself would be still nice to have 🙏

Lately I’ve been experiencing repeated crashes.
I’m using Reaper, latest version, latest Windows 11. Unfortunately, I have no idea what might be causing it. I regularly work on larger projects in parallel, which means I have a lot of plugins open. Recently, reopening the Speedrum window after it’s been closed has quite often caused Reaper to crash completely.

I can't say for sure, but if the crash happens on GUI reopening, it's possible that the problem is related to Direct2D or the graphics card driver. Especially if it started happening recently. If you can, try to update them first, or downgrade if you know that there was a recent driver upgrade, to see if it has an impact.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve checked the drivers and everything else, but it all seems to be the same as usual — no updates or anything like that. Who knows what Microsoft is messing up behind the scenes with their updates again. Over the next few weeks I’ll have the chance to try everything on a different machine, so we’ll see how it runs there.

I will be doing a bugfix update soon, probably in the first week of the new year, it will also contain some deeper fixes to the API I use, so you can try that
