I assume there is deliberately no, send from pad layer to slicer anymore and so one has to remember to put loops in slicer tab?

"Load file in Slicer" in the Layer menu still works as before, if that's what you meant

Yes exactly what I mean, but I can't seem to find it.
In version one it was in the Hamburger menu, but I don't seem to find it any hamburger menu here in 2.0.1.
Let me go read the manual.

Also I had asked on Discord but might have missed your answer.
Is there a way to set the default location it looks for kits?

Just right click on the layer number

By the way, you have a mouse/keyboard TIP at the bottom of the window if you hover over certain interface components for at least half a second... most buttons, knobs, sliders... mostly anything that use more than just a left click

The first favorite button should be the default folder

Hmm doesn't seem to be happening on mine.. Mac Apple Silicon, Cubase 13, OS 14.4.1...
It keeps going back to the My documents/Document folder it created.. (both on mac and pc)

Hmm, probably a bug... anyway, I definitely plan to add the option to set the default folder, to make it easier

ok the new Slice Mode is something - now how about a chromatic option ? instead / as a second option to distribute a sample chromatically and make it playable !
