you cant believe anyones marketing, and im honored to be the one to hip you to that!
v-machine bashine will carry a lot more oomph once theres a competing device, there isnt one now.
but really you thought it would close to a 2g machine? i was thinking a little under a 1g and you can read that in my ancient posts.
bottom line , if it can run b4 it deserves to exist at its price. theres no competitor.
anyone can say that its not powerful enough for them, heck for me thats true of all computers.

the limit is 64, afaik..... really a pain!!!funkyclav wrote: ....
Also , while going through literly 100 effect plugs I found out that there seems to be a limit of how many vsts you can import to the VFX application then you will get a ZOR222 message. It says to see the FAQ but nowhere are error codes listed on the smpro site...strange

which 2 do you want to use? If they aren't that heavy they should play fine together....VSTinus wrote:I don't need 2g, i just want 2, not so heavy on cpu, vst's running simultaneously. You don't need 2g for that.but really you thought it would close to a 2g machine?

yep i was hyperskeptical of any sampler thats trying to stream any sort of large bank so ive been pretty suprised that anyone has had any success there at all.
i was thinkin b4 and an echo and thats probably gonna be it but still b4 is a nice hammond to fit in your bag.
anyways if they get WIVI goin on it at some point maybe ill buy a used one here.

Minimogue and dirtbag (With mr. donald) And i can play them both, but don't touch the pitchwheel cause that's just a little too much. No heavy stuff, no truepianos or big romplers. A simple hammond and a mono-synth. Doesn't work. But that's ok, in a couple of weeks i'll have my diy-machine, with brainspawn. That will kick some major ass.which 2 do you want to use? What purpose does this serve? why would they limit the amount you can import. and 64...so random.
You make it if you try

I've try it and to me it seems the problem is B4 and not Truepianos, since it plays fine alone when it reaches 100% cpu (I mean the programer took care of this case)delafuerte wrote: Does it mean that if I want to play a bank with an Hammond (like B4 or VB3) and a decent piano (like truepianos) togheter and u simply can NOT do it becouse u get CPU overload, I'm overexpeting the VM power?
And the fact that I've had to bought an external HDD (130 €) to run a 80 mb piano (not 80 GB...come on, let's be seriuos!!!!) itself without any other VST, otherwise it CHOKES, and NOBODY tells u that?
BTW, I still haven't understand (or maybe I don't remember) why did you need an external HDD. I play all plugs from a memory stick without any problem.

not so random... it is 128/2 or a word with just 6 bits (usually are 7 bits = 128 (yes, the number of programs in a bank))funkyclav wrote:mon8169 wrote:the limit is 64, afaik..... really a pain!!!funkyclav wrote: ....

The problem is truepianos that uses almost all the CPU so playing it togheter with B4 (or something else) isn't possible.mon8169 wrote: I've try it and to me it seems the problem is B4 and not Truepianos, since it plays fine alone when it reaches 100% cpu (I mean the programer took care of this case)

Truepianos itself, moreover, requires an external HDD 7500 rpm to run efficiently, otherwise it chokes (also from a usb stick that is much slower); using an external HDD has been a suggestion of SMPROAUDIO support.
Obviously, others plug dont need an external HDD.

Well...it dependes on how you play it, if u simply play a chord there's no problem....but if u play many chords with sustain....it chokes!mon8169 wrote: I play Truepianos from an usb stick and it doesn't choke...

This problem has been discussed quite a long here and with the support...so far this is the only solution to run it efficiently.
