The multi-thread processing seems to make a difference in Logic 9. The mods are great -- whets the appetite for the full release. Thanks for the modification!

Ch00rD wrote:Dear fellow Bazille alpha users, I figured these little usability/playability tweaks for Bazille should be mentioned in this (Bazille) thread as well (as they may easily get lost or overlooked in yet another thread anticipating the release of Diva 1.3 and Satin).
Thanks again for your tweaks! They make using Bazille even that much better!!

That's ok, I'm sure both of them would eventually get over it and get a real composition tool. :-o

sorry for the nub question but...
are linear FM and phase modulation supposed to sound the same? i've read somewhere on the net they should...but to my ears they don't. similar yes, identical i don't feel it.
still i'm loving bazille a lot.

Makes a huge difference on my system, i7-3770, Reaper 64bit.

I think you can mimic one with the other. Phase Modulation however needs a laaaarge amplitude to mimic linear FM with low frequent modulators while linear FM needs huuuuge frequency ranges for large PM amounts.

That prompts the next question: is huuuuge bigger than laaaarge? ;)

ah thanks for the answer. i was stupidly applying similar settings hoping to achieve similar sound.
