All you're going to do is get me to make a bunch of people mad by dissing on their favorite synths. I'm not going to go into detail, please don't waste your time asking about X, as I said, I know of NO exceptions, NONE!

If op-x pro ii sounds good to you, then you should use it and be happy.

I believe this will get you a free Kontakt player library here: http://de-de.sennheiser.com/drummica

That will qualify you for a crossgrade discount from the player version, to the full version of Kontakt.
Nice one big savings Thank you very much elxsound!! :D

They also have crossgrade sales sometimes. The crossgrade from drummica is $249. Could be $125 during sales. Dunno when they'll go on sale though, maybe summer. I'm also eye-ing this.

Ah sweet I see that now! Thanks shidostrife!

I am just hoping for a Sonokinetic grand ending like Capriccio on sale. I would be so in...

Black Octopus have gone merry mad, putting together a pack of such epic proportions it will make your bells jingle!
Seriously this bundle is so huge it includes over 14,500 sounds and samples for a very merry $15!!!
This 15 for $15 bundle includes 15 MEGA sound packs from Black Octopus Sound including thousands of drum samples, vocal samples, one-shots and hundreds of presets."

Did any of you get it, is it worth buying? I'm mostly interested in those MIDI files and Linguistics pack seems useful, not sure though - what do you think? Never really bothered with premade loops before, I might be better of just getting an AAS sound pack for this price :)
Just bought will update....
Whats the verdict?

And i know a lot of synths which don't eat much of your CPU, and still sound great. Frankly, i figure your "sounds good" has more to do with the detail of imperfections, than with character, or a good sounding overall "package". Which is fair enough, but "can only sound good if it takes a lot of CPU" is a dogma which is pretty misleading IMO. As you were talking about Sylenth1 as "overrated", i would say that dogma is kind of overrating the implementation of analog imperfections as perfect as possible.

And another crossgrade qualifying library is available for free (limited time): http://www.soniccouture.com/en/products ... eed-organ/

Code is on the page (but I don't see where it says for how long it'll be available).

elxsound wrote:Sotto is relatively new, so I wouldn't expect a 50% off deal anytime soon. This is as cheap as it gets (so grab it while you can).

I really waned to pick it up, since it obviously complements Capriccio very well, but my budget/xmas budget is just not agreeing with me! :hihi: Oh well... I imagine it'll be worth its weight at full price too!
I think you missed the part where I said I grabbed Sotto already. ha ha ha

I was thinking about the upcoming few days of sales left. If Grosso or Maximo goes on sale, eish!
Oh no, I saw! Even if I hadn't seen you mention that you own it... I pretty much assume you own every orchestral library! :hihi:

I meant it for the other user that was on the fence because of the 40% off instead of 50% deal.

Anyway, nice freebie today and I'm hoping they bring back all their sales as on the 25th, because I might just grab it then.
I ended up getting Sotto, thanks

Doesn't seem like there is a limit to the the number of freebies for this new one. :)

Of course, I can't really do anything with it since I have to send my music computer in for repairs. Something went wrong with the connection to the second drive that has my Kontakt libraries. I guess I can use it until they send the box. I was going to try to fix it myself, but it is still under warranty and if it's the motherboard, I'd rather have them do it. :P
That hurts, but I love warranties just for that reason!

Great thinking. Funny, I had just picked that up today! Since you mentioned it I went back and registered it, it shows in my NI Center but Reed didn't affect crossgrade $. But I'll go register all my other Soniccouture and see if they do. Cheers

Thanks for that free organ. Got it.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems you can buy an EZKeys addon here https://www.bestservice.de/en/ezkeys_so ... nsion.html

for 36,97 euro with no VAT and that gives you a second add on pack free right now until the end of the year, correct?

So that's about $19 each, right?
