What makes you say that?spunkmuffin wrote:I see Repro 5 might be getting a sequencer.

There's nothing in your link that remotely suggests "evidence" of anything re: sequencer in RePro-5.spunkmuffin wrote:This...I could be wrong...

In the context of that post, "working on a poly version" means "working on Repro-5, hence, no time for work on a Repro-1 sequencer extension".spunkmuffin wrote:This...I could be wrong...

Tbf, I also misinterpreted it to what spunkmuffin did.
Found it strange that a sequencer would be added only now in the cycle, when it was soon about to hit public beta, but I said urs knows what he is doing

I might missed my question in some of u-he forum threads, so I'll ask here.
Urs, will new preset browser be able to synced via multiple computers? It's kinda tricky to do all that symlinks (on macos) and puts them in right places.
I'm asking because I'm using VEP and can load same synth on 2-3 machines at the same time and after some work done I might have a couple new presets which I needed to be synced.
A simple option to add a custom preset folder would be great.

We have added a consistent User preset location, i.e. one that also works on Windows and Linux.almazmusic wrote:I might missed my question in some of u-he forum threads, so I'll ask here.

There's no dedicated syncing tool, but I think a tool like Transmit etc. which can sync folders through a cloud will be fine.
I do not know if and how this will affect the database scanning. But as this takes less than a second for thousands of presets it should be fine.
If you however also want to sync your favourites, you will need to sync the databases themselves. I do not know at this point how that works. It might be something we'll need to address in future.

Sorry to repost my question, Urs, but you might have missed it.Urs wrote:Ok, edited and fixed the other post... sorry for the confusion...
I saw "validate MPE support" in a list of tasks you had to complete in a previous post image.
Does it mean that Repro-5 will be fully compatible with ROLI seaboard's five dimensions of touch for example?
Thank you for your answer!

Romain, pdxindy did answer your question and if anyone would know pdxindy would as that guy is obsessed with MPE.
And he's got Repro5 in front of him...the lucky duck.

I'm not going to be able to get rid of this exciting visual now, or the associated aural analogy that I'm imagining.spunkmuffin wrote:To me the CAT sounds super thick. So if the CAT sounds like an elephant, a poly CAT would sound like a herd of elephants.
Well...I could try replacing it though, say with Brachiosaurs..."They DO move in herds!"
